"You scored a date?" Jinyoung shrieked, startling Jackson a bit. It had been exactly three days since he and Monica had scheduled a date for this weekend. He figured he'd tell his friends while they picked him up to go to the movies.
Jinyoung's whole body had twisted in the passenger seat. Jaebeom wasn't reacting the same way as the latter but Jackson could tell he was surprised by the shocked expression in the rearview mirror.
"Yea. Well, I originally just wanted to hangout again but she asked if it was supposed to be a date. So, I was like I guess." Jackson shrugged, lips rolled in.
Jinyoung smirked mischievously as a way to say that he was right. Jackson scoffed and gently pushed his head back into the front seat area. "Just because we're going on a date doesn't mean I like her. It's like a friend date."
At that Jaebeom snorted. They had hit a red light, so he had time to turn around and talk to Jackson. "A friend date? Jackson, don't be ashamed to just say you like her." Jaebeom said then carried onto driving.
Jackson scoffed once again. "I don't like her guys. She's just a great friend to have. She's nice to talk to, she's funny, sarcastic, sweet-"
Jackson realized that he was rambling on about Monica's qualities and quickly stopped. Jinyoung didn't let that slip past him though. "It sounds like you're whipped and don't want to admit it." Jinyoung mumbled.
Jackson rolled his eyes. Not wanting to talk about this topic anymore.
