time flies by fast when you're having fun.

Days, weeks, and months went by without Monica returning Jackson's I love you. And it didn't faze him not one bit.

But over the time she had been spending with Jackson- it hit her. She is in love with Jackson. Monica's in love with his day-brightening smile, his lovely smile, the way he looks at her. All components to her sudden revelation in discovering her deep adoration for her boyfriend of five months.

"Five months?" Monica voiced aloud in confusion. Surprised it had been a whole six months since she even met Jackson.

"What?" Jackson asked, cleaning up carlie's left over mess by the television.

"Oh- uh. We've been dating for five months, that's all." Monica clarified, continuing to run her fingers through Carlie's hair while she napped on her lap.

"Seriously? Feels like an eternity." Jackson said nonchalantly.

Monica playfully rolled her eyes with an airy laugh, "I don't know about an eternity but it does feel like I've known you for years."

"Whatever you say." Jackson shrugged. Huffing now that he was finally finished with his job.

Jackson came over to plop down next to Monica. Allowing his head to rest on her shoulder.

"So, what do you want for your birthday?" Monica laid her head on top of Jackson's.

"I think you two should be enough this year," Jackson said with all honesty. Sneaking a quick glance at his sleeping daughter on Monica's lap. Ever since he and Monica had started dating Jackson couldn't help but believe his life was finally complete.

Although, he knew the relationship had a long way to go he knew he was attached to Monica without a doubt.

"Cheesy but understandable." Monica shrugged. "You sure there's nothing that cost money that you would want?"

"Nope."

Suddenly a light bulb went off in Monica's mind. She bit back a smile just thinking about Jackson's reaction to it. Since she discovered her true feelings for him recently,

Why not tell him on his birthday?

i hate to say it you all but this book is
coming to an end in like the next three
chapters and i just wanted to say in
advance that this has been a true
experience. this is my first time completing
a full book with an actual thought out
plot. when i used to write for myself in
my notes i would either not finish it,
finish it abruptly with a sucky ending,
or get messy with the plot. so, this is the
first where i thought it out and am genuinely satisfied with my outcome.

i'm glad i could share my creation
with you guys and i hope you stick
around for when i do it again. don't
worry i'll be sappier on the last chapter,
trust me.
