"It has been finished!" Tofu said proudly. "Now we must leave it to dry."
"Wonderful! I can't wait to see it!" Jaden said. Chargii tried to sit up in her throne. "It's about dinner time I would suppose." She said.
"Oh yes! I remember the guests are coming over today. Are they here yet?" Jaden asked, walking over to the door of the castle. She opened it.
Outside of the door were 2 people. A knight, and a tailor.

"Yes, they are here Madam!" Jaden announced with delight. "You should come greet them."
"I would but, I am too tired to get off of my throne.." Chargii said with obvious fake pain in her voice.
Jaden grumbled lightly.
"Good evening! It's an honor to be here, your majesty." The tailor said.
"If the queen isn't going to come to us, may we bring ourselves to her?" The knight asked.
"I suppose so." Jaden said nodding, and walking to the queen.

"Why hello there! Who must you two be? Furry and furrier?" Chargii laughed.
"Uh- Madam.." Jaden said to her.
The guests had looks on their faces.
"Sorry, sorry. I just couldn't pass down such an opportunity. I am Madam Chargii. You two are?"
"Knight Lua, your highness." Lua bowed.
"And I'm Shroomy! I am a tailor." Shroomy bowed as well.
"Ah really? A knight and a tailor? Splendid!" Chargii said to them. Shroomy smiled brightly.
"I apologize if the meal isn't great. We don't have a cook anymore.. So, the maid has to cook for us." Chargii looked at her nails and lowered her eyebrows.
Jaden felt bad for Pants. She wasn't in here, but for the queen to give a bad impression of her when she wasn't around, was just rotten.

Pants was setting the table in the dining room. One plate per chair, one cup per plate. Six chairs were out today, where if there were no visitors, there would be three. One for the queen, one for the princess, one for the maid. Quite lonely. Today there was the painter, and two others to join them.
Jaden walked into the dining room. "Pants?" She said to her.
"Oh, yes princess?" Pants replied to her.
"We're ready to be seated."
"Of course." Pants nodded and finished setting up the table quickly, then she went to the kitchen.

Everyone sat down at the table. The queen at the end, of course. Pants came in with the soup and roasted potatoes.
Everybody got their fair share of it.
"I enjoy this meal! You are a nice cook, ma'am." Shroomy said to Pants.
"Oh- Uh, thank you.." Pants said, glancing at the queen who was too busy slurping up her soup to listen.
"So how is your village, Lua?" Jaden asked him.
"It's been well! It's not all that joyful, however." He sighed.
"That's unfortunate.." Jaden sighed as well.
"My cousin has become terribly ill. He denies it, but it's very clear." Shroomy said.
"Goodness, well I wish the best for them." Tofu replied.
"I do as well." Jaden agreed.

When everyone finished their dinner, they all got up and went to do their own things.
The queen talked to Lua and Jaden. Tofu went to admire the halls with other portraits in them. Shroomy went to go mend clothing he had been assigned to do. Pants stayed and cleaned up the table.
While Pants was cleaning up the table, she looked at the queen's chair.
She found something unusual.
It was a key.
