Jaden went to her room with the paper, and shut the door. She locked it for safety, since she didn't want to be a victim, like Shroomy. She put the paper with the other papers she had wrote, and started to count them to make sure that none of them were missing.
There were many papers, as many as a book.
Jaden had a habit of documenting her days and feelings. Her mother did it too, before she passed away. Jaden had a few of her mother's papers in her closet.

I've never read them before.. Jaden thought, putting her own papers down. She opened her closet and took them out carefully.

It's been exactly 4 years since I ordered my daughters to stay inside and avoid contact with the villagers. I have fallen ill, and I am worried about their futures. Someone keeps requesting to see me, and I don't know what to do about it. I don't know who they are at all, and I don't want to spread my illness. Should I allow them to speak with me?

I have allowed the person to speak with me, just out of curiosity. He goes by the name "Paradox", and he is a doctor. He claims he could help treat my illness, so I guess it would be nice to have him around. However, the girls don't really seem to like him. They don't know the village well, and they think doctors look scary. I personally enjoy his company.

I cannot leave my bed now, I've become too sick to talk to my own daughters. It's dark outside, and Paradox has gone home. It's becoming harder for me to breathe. Jaden, my sweet little princess, if you read this, I wish you luck as queen. Chargii, my dearest daughter, behave under your sister's rule. Paradox, I'm sorry I couldn't stay strong. I love you.

Jaden put the papers back in her closet. Many thoughts rushed through her head.
My own sister disobeyed her mother, even after her death.
