Lua suddenly sat up in his bed. Oh.. just a bad dream.. He thought. Thank god the village isnt flooded and we arent trapped in heeerrrrreeeeooohhhh noooooooo... Lua remembered that that wasn't a dream.
He saw that there was no light coming from the windows, so it must have still been night time. I guess I should just.. go back to sleep?
-THUD!
Huh?? What was that?!
He heard a loud screeching shortly after that.
What in the world??
He wanted to investigate. He opened his door slowly and looked out. There was a figure sitting on the floor, holding their right shoulder.
"....Hello?" Lua whispered."Huh??" The figure turned around quickly. "...Oh hello there.."
"Hello, sir? What are you doing out this late..?" Lua asked him.
"Just roaming."
"..Then..Why did I hear a thud and screeching..." Lua asked, unsettled.
"Oh, well, do you ever just try to dislocate your shoulder and you're accidentally successful?" The figure laughed. Lua showed concern.
"...Sir are you ok??" He asked him.
"..No. Not really," The figure said. "Would you like to have a tea party?"
"...This late at night?" Lua questioned him.
"Yes, yes! It will be lovely." The figure said, cheerfully.
"...I..guess so..?" Lua agreed to it.The figure brought a small teacup to Lua at the dinner table.
"Sir, I never really got your name.. What is it?" Lua asked him.
"Oh, my name is Sketchy! I'm glad you asked." He said.
"That's a nice name. My-"
"Oh, I know your name. It's Lua."
"..Oh..Uhh, I apologize." Lua put his hand behind his head.
"No need, no need! I know everyone here.." Sketchy said under his breath, holding his still dislocated shoulder.
...Everyone?? I've.. never met this guy!
Lua began to be concerned again."So what's going on in your life? Do you have any children?" Sketchy asked him politely.
"No, I've always been alone." Lua shook his head.
"I see.. It's unfortunate the flood had to destroy the village. Tragic.." Sketchy said, meddling with his teacup. Lua put his hands on his head.
"Sir- I mean.. Sketchy, I've never seen you here before. How do you know all of this??" Lua asked him.
"...Well I've always been here. I know everything that happens. Haven't you?" Sketchy replied.
"..No, I was a visitor. But the flood came.. and now I'm stuck here." Lua answered. "...What's your story? Why aren't you out in the day?"
"..Oh...Alright, well... I guess I have some time to spare..." Sketchy sighed, and he began to tell Lua how he got here.
