Chapter 2

The good thing about going to a public school, no assigned seating. I sat in the way back as I noticed one of our class Kings come into the room. I groaned under my breath when I saw Ethan, our class president, walk in with his right-hand man, Sage. Who just so happens to be his Future Beta.

Sage noticed me instantly, giving me a chill down my spine, with a creepy cocky smirk. He was one of the top five worse bullies I had to deal with since last year. I just broke eye contact and went to doodling in one of my notebooks until the teacher arrived.

When our homeroom teacher, Ms. Castlo, came into the room greeting us, I had finally noticed who my desk neighbor was currently. I had Sage on my right and Ethan right in front of him. Sage glanced over at me and licked his lips before flicking a folded note at my desk. I caught it swiftly, so no one could notice it. When I made sure no one was looking, except for Sage.

I opened the note and nearly cringed.

'You know if you were a wolf, I would so bang your sexy virgin ass. Why not just let me Mark you, little bitch. Maybe that will bring the freak out in you. Then maybe you'll finally bring honor to your Pack again, and I'll even pay you for it.'

I swear this was some form of sexual harassment. Sage was really one of the most fuck up people I knew. He used to physically harm me, leaving me with cuts and bruises until the summer came. He saw me in the swimsuit at my brother's party, and it got worse in a new direction.

"Seriously, when the time is right. I'll help you beat that asshole into a bloody pulp." My wolf said in the back of my subconscious. I smirked and kept my mouth shut as I looked for the open window and threw the note out one when no one was looking.

I looked towards Saga when I heard a growl, but he was nose deep in his textbook. "Wait, that's an Alpha growl." My wolf clarified for me, but the only Alpha child that wasn't me in the room was Ethan. I glanced over at him and saw he was jotting down notes.

It was bugging my wolf, my angel, and myself as to who the fuck just growled. I tried to figure it out throughout all my classes until lunchtime. My wolf and I calmed down by then, especially when we saw Dawn and Dessa having lunch simultaneously as me.

"Hey Soror, I feel so happy to be having lunch with my bestie."

Dessa called me sister in Latin while bouncing over to my arms. "Dawn has been bugging out since homeroom and had become overprotective when we heard a growl. Apparently, someone must have triggered an Alpha's wrath. Was it Keith because I know Grayson growl when I hear it." I shook my head at her as we both seemed puzzled by it all.

We went through the lunch line and got our freshly made Lunch meals before sitting outside at our own table with Dawn. "I know it wasn't Ethan either since he was in my homeroom when I heard the growl." Dawn and Dessa looked at each other as their faces turned pale when they heard the growl as well.

"Then it has to be someone pissed off Jason then. He is the only other Alpha on the ground." Dawn spoke while she scanned the room for him.
