Chapter 6

          School had ended and since, Grayson and Dessa was at practice, Jason dealing with Kalarni, I had to figure out how I was going to get home. After all I didn't have my car or my mother's car. I felt a warm breeze go by my ear, like it was someone's breath and jumped, suppressing a scream. Before I could even say anything regarding Ethan gently blowing on the nape of my neck. He had hooked arms with mine and guides me towards an all-black 2017 Dodge Challenger.

"Are you free tonight?"

I blinked and nodded my head, before he let go of my arm to open his car's passenger door. "Then let me take you shopping?" I looked around for a camera somewhere, before arching an eyebrow in confusion. "I promise to explain in the car." He sighed, whilst closing his eyes, and rubbing the bridge to his nose. Moving his fake glasses up a bit.

"Let's just see where this is going." My wolf suggested, as I got in the car.

Ethan seem a bit caught off guard that I didn't fight to much. I closed the door for myself, as he moved to sit in the driver seat. "No Sage?" Ethan took off his fake glasses, allowing me the pleasure of seeing how damn sexy he really was. Especially with a few loose dirty blonde strains escaping his slick back hair style to brush against his forehead. "No, because he too busy getting ready for this weekend."

I just looked at him still confused, as he pulled out of the school parking lot. "I suggest you contact your pack and let them know you're going to New York City. If they ask, say it's a date." He said, keeping his eyes on the road to focus. I could feel the warmth rushing through my body, when he said to claim it's a date. I didn't hesitate to let my family know, as I pray, he doesn't pull any shady crap.

"Do I get to know why you have me going on this so-call date to New York City?" I spoke, while trying to sooth my wolf, since she was feeling on edge. We mainly agree because we wanted to humor him, not get caught up and stranded somewhere.

"My father won't leave me alone about how I always have my head in the books, and not once show any interest in the opposite sex. He claims by my age he had fucked so many people before he found mom. She made him straighten his ways."

I shudder at his comment regarding his father's past. "Was he trying to make you sick to your stomach?" I whined in place of him, knowing even I would be uncomfortable with that subject. Ethan just laugh, as I noticed the smile appearing along his lips. "I wonder that too. I was simply going to ignore my father, until I got a text message from my mother. We're having a pack party this weekend. Basically, a party for my packs Delta child. They turn eighteen this weekend."

"Then I remember our talk in the school library and hope you could help spare me from my father's nagging." If this was his way of asking me to be his date? He really did need to spend more time with the opposite sex.

"Alright, I'll be your date." My wolf rolled her eyes, when I agreed to going with him.

Ethan on the other hand glance at me, a bit surprised I was so willing. "You really are different from other girls, but maybe that's because I'm so used to them fleeing from me." I allowed my wolf to laugh for me mentally, so I wouldn't laugh on the outside. He really did come off as a creep, so no surprised girls that didn't admire his nerdy side ran from him.
