I spent most of my time in Lune Noire, mostly in the gardening, helping Omegas. Basically, spending time with Natalie's mother, or training with the Beta's Mate. Since I had no training and ran on instinct only. Kind of got to a stage point where the Beta himself needed to train with me. Which meant I was processing well.
I would normally see Ethan at night though, after a quick shower of course. Surprisingly, I ended up staying in his room, and he really did behave. Yet, Blaze would come out to cover me in kisses most mornings.
It was Friday though, meaning a school day. Which was getting dull, and kind of making me wish I join Keith in testing out, which by the way he completed. Soon enough though I retracted that though when we were in homeroom. Ms. Castlo called for our attention, making me catch site of a fair skin, amber eye girl with black hair just to the bottom of her ears.
Ms. Castlo introduced her as our transfer student from the north, hinting she was Canadian. I knew instantly she was Vega Vaughn, my aunt Mia's daughter. She seems to be staring right at me when she could, but then I noticed her eyes becoming glued in Ethan direction. My heart sank at the idea that Ethan might be her mate, but when I looked over at him and Sage. My jaw completely dropped.
It wasn't Ethan she was looking at, and he was reading a book too. It was Sage, as he seemed to be drooling, while locking eyes with her. Ethan soon enough sat up and noticed what I was seeing as well. He looked over at me, with a look that told me he was thinking the same thing too. I hope this was a good omen though, because having Sage turn against us would hurt Ethan so much.
Once the bell rang, Sage kept tapping Ethan's shoulder to get his attention, while stealing glances at Vega. I on the other hand waited for the room to clear, before going up to her. "Hey Cuz, been wondering when you would transfer here." She looked up at me surprised that I knew who she was, and the fact that I came to her. "Where are you staying? I know everything already. Including my friend's Beta begging his alpha to accept you as his mate."
Her jaw dropped open before she finally spoke up. "Hotel New York." I rubbed the bridge of my nose and sighed heavily. "Aunt Mia is so creative." I said sarcastically, before standing up.
"Please allow me to show you to your next class, and if you want. I can talk to my twin or Ethan to see if we can get you to stay in a pack. Not like you're a rogue." She stood up and furrowed her brows, as she clung to her books. "Keep your friends close and enemies closer?" She asked me, wondering about my intentions.
"Sort of, plus this way you can see who I really am, and not judge me by what you were told. I also am praying to make an ally out of you, because Sage is like a brother to Ethan. To have his Beta betray his Alpha could hurt him." The shock she carried in her eyes, as we walked to her class, gave away that she had no idea that Sage was to be a future Beta. "If you want, met me in the library after lunch. I will draw everything out for you. Cause they threw you in here blind."
Vega just simply nodded her head. She really didn't expect me to be aware of her, let along come to her the way I did. Sky told me mentally that no one could truly touch me, without Zia sending some type of cosmic punishment on them. Plus, it seemed Vega's vision was clouded, and set in one direction. She needed to be shown that their always two sides to everything. As the day goes by, I noticed she had most of her classes with me and sat as close to me as she possibly could. I wasn't sure if this was on purpose or accidental.
I was in the Library, working on a layout of branches on who is who, when Vega came in and sat in front of me. "You sure this is wise for you to do? After all we already acknowledge I'm your enemy." I glance up at her, whilst placing my elbow on the table, to rest my head in my hand. "You're also my family. I'm not labeling you as a foe, until I know you are completely aware of all sides of the story. I believe you know right from wrong and have good judgement."
