Keith p.o.v
I really wanted to run, but my mom wouldn't come with me. Everyday I had a personal trainer that I fought to get stronger and stronger.
I would come back with new bruises everyday. My father wouldn't care, my mom always did though. She told me to run, And to get far away from there but I couldn't leave her!!
She wanted me to leave like she knew something I didn't, did she? I wouldn't know. My mom said she wanted me to be happy, and she would be glad if I got to safety away from my father.
My father would beat me up telling me I'm weak, he would only do it when my mom was gone from work.
I'm going to run away. so that's what I did In the middle of the night, I got clothes, food and other things I would need. I of course brought my bracelets and necklace's, they were gifts from my mom. I also brought a photo of me, my mom, and father.
I went to my moms room and kissed her on the forehead, surprisingly she kissed me on my forehead back and whispered,
"Be safe, I love u I'll find u when I have the courage to stand up to ur father."
"I will, I love you"
I was on the edge of tears, my mom started crying. "I can't go, I can't leave you" I said silently crying as my voice cracking . "I'll come for you, I'll return and I'll get u"
My mom just nodded. I then walked out, I snuck out the window of my room. I was still crying, I then stopped I walked to my dads room, and said I love you and left.
Time skip:2 hours later
I was know in the woods, but was near the ocean?! I didn't know how I was supposed to get to wear all the metal and earth benders were!!
