She's The Alpha Queen

Chapter Twenty-One.

Theo was blocking Raphaella; he needed alone time to think about the situation that was going on. He understood that she wanted to help her friend and everything, but she wasn't thinking about her at all, and even when that was the perfect trait for an Alpha and Luna, he was selfish, because he wanted for her to think of him, her mate. If Raphaella entered the territory without backup, there was a chance that Alpha Rouge would use whatever the Black Wolf gave him and keep her there in captive, with absolutely no way to get her out.

There had to be a way to help Future Alpha Riley, without having to sacrifice Raphaella. She wasn't a pawn in the situation; she was the allegedly Future Queen of all the werewolves, so that meant that she is crucial for the future of the species. Theo was going to find a way to help Future Alpha Riley without having to lose Raphaella; he was going to go himself.

Raphaella sniffed the air, looking out for her mate. She knew that he was mad, but she was more than sure that the plan was going to work. He had to have a little faith in her. Finding the scent that she adored, she followed it, only to find Theo packing a small duffel bag.

"Where are you going?" Was the first thing Raphaella asked as she stepped inside the room.

Theo dropped the bag and stared at her. "I'm not losing you." He replied confident. "I searched for you all over the world and I won't let you get away."

Raphaella licked her lips and stared at his mate. "Nothing is going to happen to me." She whispered. "I have an alternate plan." Theo frowned. "You're coming with me."

Theo raised an eyebrow. "You didn't say that." He added. "Raphe what on earth is going on your mind?"

"I know that Alpha Rouge is working with the Black Wolf, so of course he is going to be able to fight against me." Raphaella started. "He also knows that you won't let me go alone, but he is expecting one of us to appear alone." Theo nodded. "You're the one that is going to enter first, he is going to lock you up with Riley, and when you are, you'll mind link me and I'll enter." Theo seemed unsure. "Everyone is going to be behind me. But Theo, we need to end this now."

Theo knew that she was right; they had to end it now. "Okay." He replied. "Have you told the others the change in plans?" She shook her head. "Why not?"

"The Black Wolf is weaker on a full moon," Raphaella smirked. "We have a full moon in two days." Theo chuckled. "You want to make sure I was on board before going to them and change all the logistics?" She shrugged. "Oh Raphe," Theo whispered before capturing her in a hug, followed by a very passionate kiss.

Riley gulped as he observed what was going on outside. They were burying a body in the backyard, he didn't want to observe, but he couldn't rip his eyes from the body. It was so familiar, it was a woman, and then it all clicked. Alpha Rouge had killed his own mate. His mother. He couldn't keep the rage inside, and it was then when his wolf appeared.

A loud growl was heard from inside the house, and Alpha Rouge didn't even question what was going on, he didn't care, he just needed to hide the body of his dead mate and then get on with the plan to capture Raphaella.

He had the help of Black Wolf, and he knew that she was going to come and save her friend, his own son, that was the main reason as to why he captured him, he didn't really care for him to take his place, he didn't need a successor, with Raphaella's blood he was going to become immortal.

"Make sure that the smells disappear." Alpha Rouge spoke to the wolves. "I don't want to be disturbed for the next two hours."

With that being said, Alpha Rouge walked towards his personal space, the basement. It was odd that for someone like him, you know, him being the Alpha, used the basement as the office, but this was what the Black Wolf wanted, he loved dark spaces, after all, he is the Black Wolf.

He took in a deep breath and waited for him to appear. He was sure that Raphaella was going to be appearing soon, so he had to have more power and make sure that he could defeat her. The ritual was simple, no lights, his symbol light up with candles and some blood right in the middle.

He had done this a million times, and yet he didn't, well actually he couldn't understand why on earth the Black Wolf hadn't appeared just yet. Growling, he started the ritual once again, expecting an answer, only to be disappointed once again.

Slamming his fist on the floor, he stared at everything that he had done for the so-called Black Wolf, he had done everything and yet, when he needed him the most, he was not there to aid him. How on earth could he beat Raphaella if he was not going to help him when he needed the most.

Theo stared at Raphaella as she prepared for the mission. He knew that he was going to be right there with her all the time, but he just couldn't help but fear for her. She was strong, and together they were stronger.

"Raphe," Theo whispered. "Do you think that I could spend the night with you?" Raphaella dropped her stuff and stared at her mate. "I mean," Theo coughed as he blushed. "Just hug whilst we sleep." He whispered. "I know that everything is going to go fine, but for the sake of my wolf, and mine, please, just let me hold you tonight."

Raphaella walked over to her mate. "Sure." She added with a small smile. "It's getting harder to be away from you." She whispered. "My wolf is begging me for a run."

Theo laughed, he knew that Raphaella was just like him when it came to the bond, but she was trying harder to repress it. "Let's go."

Everyone was getting ready. A full moon was approaching, and that meant that all the wolves were going to be stronger, more focused and everything could turn out to be perfect. It was because of that same reason, that Alpha Rouge thought he could contact the Black Wolf to get the last bit of power he needed to get rid of Raphaella and become the king of all werewolves.

But just like always, Alpha Rouge didn't understand the things that other people told him. He forgot that the Black Wolf is at its weakest point on a full moon; due to the cure the Moon Goddess gave him when he broke his promise to her.

There was a war approaching, a war of only two people, but that was going to cause great chaos and would determine the fate of a whole race.
