Lies.

I walked into my room, and got sweatpants on and a sweatshirt. I checked the bathroom once more to see if anything had changed. Everything was the exact same. I walked into my moms room which was right across from the bathroom and sat on her bed with her. “What happened in there Alyx?” My mom asked worried, “Nothing.. I just.. fell. That’s all.” I lied, “You’re lying. There was definitely more to that story.” She said, “No mum, I swear.” I said, “Okay Alyx, I’m going to go make dinner. I’ll call you down when its ready.” she said. I walked out of her room and into the bathroom to get my phone. I had a text from Luke.

-”Will you be my girlfriend?”

I kept rereading that same sentence for what seemed like 20 minutes. I finally answered.

-”Yes!”

          I walked downstairs and sat on the couch with Summer and Jack. What happened in the bathroom kept replaying in my head, over and over and over. Was I going crazy.? I kept asking myself. “Summer and Alyx dinners ready!” Yelled my mom, I walked into the kitchen where the table was set and there was chicken, broccoli, and water set next to the plates. I didn’t eat much. I couldn’t eat. I just wanted to throw up, pictures of her face kept flashing through my head. I went upstairs after dinner and sat in my room. I heard Summer walk up the stairs. I knew what I should do.
