[A/N] This one-shot’s for Texanabby510, who so kindly pointed out that most of my headcanons or one-shots are somewhat (if not completely) depressing. Hope this one’s happy enough! Thanks for commenting, @Texanabby510! [A/N]

🎄|Christmas with the Demigods|🎄

Typically, weather is perfect in the valley where Camp Half-Blood lies, so it would only make sense if snow was allowed to fall, since no one can have a perfect white Christmas without white.

Campers were having a snowball fight by the beach, while children of Apollo struck up a fairly catchy classic Christmas tune. Cabin roofs were covered in snow, and not a blade of grass poked through the blanket of white. At the top of Half-Blood Hill, Thalia’s pine tree stood tall, decorated in a multitude of ornaments just for the season.

It was indeed a perfect scene.

In the amphitheater, surrounding the blazing fire, sat eight friends, all bundled up in their winter coats. Laughs were exchanged as gifts were unwrapped, the girls wrapped in the arms of their significant other.

A pretty girl with kaleidoscopic eyes slapped a Latino boy on the arm for making up his own annoying lyrics to a favorite Christmas song, while the almond-shaped-eyed girl leaning against the boy’s shoulder smirked at his antics.

A younger girl with cocoa-colored skin shrieked in delight upon unwrapping her gift from a taller, Chinese-Canadian boy, smothering the boy in a huge hug.

Another couple sat nearby- a boy with dark hair and bright eyes, and a girl with blond hair and intimidatingly dark eyes- wrapped in each other’s arms, laughing and reminiscing in memories as the boy dropped a marshmallow into the flames.

With an arm draped around the kaleidoscopic-eyed girl, a tall, blonde-haired guy summoned the winds to steal the Latino boy’s cup filled to the brim with hot chocolate, while the Latino boy stared at his friend incredulously.

The eight friends were soon joined by two more: the black-haired, blue-eyed girl wedged herself between her brother and his girlfriend, throwing her arms around the couple. The dark-haired boy sat nearby, mustering a small smile.

“Nico!” The blonde-haired boy called out, grinning at the younger boy. “Don’t just sit there; come join us!”

The boy, Nico, smiled a little wider, as if thinking, Why not?

The dark-haired girl picked up a marshmallow from a bag and her brother’s feet and chucked it at the couple sitting by the flames, “Oi, Kelp Head! Owl Head! Get over here, you lovebirds!”

The girl labeled “Owl Head” looked up in disbelief. “Seriously, Thalia? Owl Head? That’s the best you’ve got?”

Thalia shrugged, popping another marshmallow into her mouth. “Would you rather it have been ‘Annie’?”

The girl glared at Thalia. “No. Annabeth, and nothing else.”

Annabeth’s boyfriend frowned. “What, I can’t call you Wise Girl anymore?”

Annabeth smirked. “You can, only if I can call you Seaweed Brain.”

Her boyfriend laughed before kissing her. “Deal, Wise Girl.
