Donghyuck's POV

For some reason, today felt off. Like something bad was going to happen. And not because today was Monday and I had a test in chemistry.

Nonetheless, I shrugged off the feeling and got on with my morning.

I got ready then walked to school. While I walked, I hummed as I kicked this random ball on the floor around before I saw a trash can and threw the mysterious toy ball away. Walking to school is pretty boring with no one to talk to.

Anyways, I reached school and immediately started looking around for my friends. I saw Jaemin and Renjun by the garden. Jaemin had picked up Renjun and started swinging him around while Renjun demanded to be put down. I decided let them and their coupley stuff be.

Then, I saw Jisung sitting on a bench. Surprisingly, only Jisung. There was no Chenle next to him and Jisung seemed upset as he kicked the rocks underneath him.

I frowned and decided to go see what was wrong with our maknae. I approached him and sat down next to him, he looked up to me and muttered a greeting before looking back down to continue kicking rocks.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

Jisung sighs. "I messed up. Like really messed up."

Is this why I felt something bad was going to happen? "With Chenle?"

Jisung nodded. "I think he hates me."

I shook my head. "I bet he doesn't. What happened anyways?"

"Over the weekend, and old friend of mine came over." Jisung started. "She was really excited to see me and so was I because we haven't seen each other in so long because she moved away."

"Wait— she?" Donghyuck asked. "Oh, god."

Jisung nodded. "When Chenle came over, out of nowhere I may add— well, not that I care, he can come over whenever he wants— he thought I was cheating on him."

"Because there was a girl over?" I asked, slightly confused. Chenle isn't the type of person to think Jisung was cheating just because a girl was at his house.

Jisung shrugged. "I have no idea why he jumped to his conclusion."

Donghyuck was now even more confused. "Is Chenle at school today? I want to talk to him to see his side of the story."

Jisung shrugged again. "Whenever I went to his house, he shut the door in my face."

I tried to stop myself from laughing, but it was no use, the thought of Chenle just blatantly slamming the door in Jisung's face is hilarious.

Jisung pouted. "It's not funny, hyung."

I cleared my throat after I stopped laughing, trying to become serious again. "Okay, so if I see Chenle, I'll talk to him."
