No One's POV

It's been a few weeks since Jeno and Mark found out they'd be working together, and the two have grown to be closer friends than before due to seeing each other more during the week. They would walk home together after work and sometimes met up to go to work together. There were also some times where Donghyuck would join the two just to hang out for a bit. Mark didn't completely like when they all met up, he felt like a third wheel. But he also felt a bit...jealous? He had no idea why.

Mark was watching as Jeno and Donghyuck were talking to each other as he watched them. He was cleaning the counters at the front since it was his turn to clean (according to Jeno). Donghyuck noticed Mark watching them and waved, causing Jeno to reflect his actions as he looked towards the boy wiping down the counters.

As the two looked away from Mark and continued their conversation, the manager of the small cafe, Baekhyun, came up to him.

"Mark, you like one of them don't you?" He asked, leaning against the counter with a smug expression on his face.

"No, I don't."

"Then explain you wiping the same spot on the counter for the past five minutes." He said sassily, pointing out that Mark has indeed been cleaning the same spot for longer than needed as he watched the two.

Mark looks away from the two and stares at the sparkling spot on the counter before turning to the manager. "Oops, sorry."

"It's no big deal." Baekhyun waves him off. "So, which one is it?"

"Which one is what?"

"Which one do you like, dummy."

"I don't—well, I don't know..." Mark says as he scratched the back of his neck.

Baekhyun blinked. "How do you not know?"

"I don't know if I like either of them, I just know that seeing them together makes me jealous..." Mark said.

Baekhyun shrugged. "You either like one of them, want what they have, or you could even like both."

Mark looked at Baekhyun blankly and shook his head to rid of all the self-interrogation that was going on in his mind. "Whatever. Let's not talk about this anymore."

Baekhyun nodded. "M'kay. I'll help you with cleaning."

Mark thanked him and the two helped each other clean down all the counters before closing.
