Donghyuck's POV

As I walk into the cafeteria, Jeno runs up to me and slings his arm around my shoulder.

I stare at it questioningly before looking back at Jeno for an explanation.

Jeno sighs and looks around a bit — making sure no one was watching. "We have to be convincing, remember?" He whispers to me.

"Oh." I say monotonously.

"Why do you keep forgetting?" He asks, playful smile on his face.

"I don't." I state. "I just don't know why we—"

"Why you what?" Jaemin suddenly appears beside us, staring at Jeno and I with suspicion.

"Uh..." I panic and try to quickly think of some bullshit answer. My eyes wander to behind Jaemin to where I see a window showcasing the trees outside. An idea pops into my head. "Why we have to eat in this boring cafeteria all the time! Why don't we just go outside — all six of us — and have a picnic instead?"

Jaemin blinks and I'm afraid he won't buy it, but thankfully he smiles. "Donghyuck! That's a great idea!"

"Yeah, it could be like a— 1, 2, 3, 4...quadruple date!" Jeno adds cheerfully.

Jaemin nods before he sees Renjun walking into the cafeteria and runs up to him. Probably to go tell him about the picnic. I sigh in relief.

"I'm so glad that worked."

"Same." Jeno agrees. "That was some awesome timing though. I thought we'd have to out ourselves to him. How'd you even think of that?"

"I just used my surroundings." I point to the window with my thumb as I explain my thought process to Jeno. "I saw the trees and remembered that Jaemin and Renjun used to have picnics there."

"Wow." Jeno says as he looked towards the windows. "Why'd they stop?"

I shrugged. "No idea."

Just as I finish, a wild Chenle suddenly clings onto me, a big smile on his face, Jisung not too far behind him. "Jaemin told us about your idea! It sounds great! Jisung even offered his blanket for us to use!"

Jisung rolls his eyes, glaring at the smaller. "I did not! I use that blanket for when it's cold, it's not supposed to be on the dirty floor!"

Chenle then pouts and looks at Jisung with puppy eyes. "Pleaseee, Jisungie~"

Jisung looks away and crosses his arms over his chest. Chenle frowns and looks down, he even sniffles to make his sad act more believable.

Jisung sighs. "Fine. Okay, we can use my perfectly clean blanket and put it on the dirty floor for a picnic."

Chenle jumps in joy before hugging Jisung tightly, tiptoeing in able to rub his cheek against the taller's. "Thank you so, so much! I love you, Sungie!"

Despite having to sacrifice his blanket, Jisung smiles at his cute boyfriend, seemingly already forgiving him.

"Alright, love birds, let's go get food and get this picnic started!" Jaemin says as he glances at Jisung and Chenle, a smile on his face.
