"So how old are you anyways?"

"23" she simply said

"Damn and you ran a gang and a cartel? Shit."

"Run. Its still mines" she said roughly. My dick jumped.

"Damn, then why you here?"

"You ask too many questions" she said rolling her eyes "first of all, Dax is a legend in the streets so when I was offered to work along his side, I jumped at the opportunity. Secondly, anywhere my husband goes, I go."

"Husband?" I stopped bench pressing and turned to her.

"Fuckin' right!" Tommy came up saying kissing her cheek. She smirked and shook her head.

"Y'all married?" I said shocked

"Yeah, a white Irish man can't date a beautiful black queen? Huh?" He said

I shrugged. D.C. found the shit hilarious.

He got up and dapped Tommy "once you go black you don't go back huh, wheat bread?" D.C. said laughing.

I shook my head "I'm going outside."

I walked out to the shooting range and seen dad about to shoot at the silhouette target.

I stopped where I was and stood back to watch him.

"I know it's been a while since your 'father of the year' ass has even held one of these. I hope you still know how to use it" Grandad said laughing.

"Oh, don't get it misunderstood. I'll never forget how to use it. It's like riding a bike. Once you get the hang of it, you never forget."

"Shoot that motherfucker then." Grandad said

Dad shot a single shot and missed completely.

Grandad laughed "never forget huh? Looks like you should've stuck to your day job. You're fucking my business up already. You don't have what it takes, I knew Cash would've been a better fit. How do you expect to protect your family?"

"Fuck you! You don't know what I've been through. If you think I'll ever let a motherfucker fuck with my family you got the game fucked up!"

"Well show me nigga! Aim at the target like it's the niggas who killed your daughter!! SHOOT!"

"Daughter?"

Dad let off rounds on the target then went down the line to the next 5. Once the smoke cleared we seen he hit all 6 targets with straight head shots.

"Damn" I mumbled

"That's what's the fuck I'm talking about!"
Grandad said running over hugging my dad "if it takes you thinking about someone taking your family's life to kill these motherfuckers, you do that shit!"

We walked back inside "Alright, training over. We'll meet back up tomorrow night for another training. I need all of your prepared to shoot and fight before the end of the month." Grandad said

We all nodded and left out. Seeing that side of my dad made me feel good but I just couldn't get off the daughter part. Dad had a daughter before us? I want to know what happened to her.
"You did great today"

I looked over to see Brittany smiling up at me.
"Thanks, I still can't believe you benched 260 though" I said

She laughed "yeah, don't let the looks confuse you. I'm a tough girl."

I chuckled "yeah obviously. But what's up? Can we text."

She blushed "um.. I don't know if that's a good idea." She said flashing me her wedding ring.

"Alright.. I understand. I'll see you tomorrow though." I winked and got in the car.

A few minutes later dad slid in the drivers side. We drove in peace for a while. I was debating on asking him or not.

"Alright, So how much did you hear KJ?"

I looked up and he was looking straight ahead at the road.

"Enough. We had another sister?"

He sighed "Yes. I had a daughter named Heaven"

"What happened to her?" I asked

He finally looked at me "my brother had her killed."

"You had a brother?" I asked shocked

"Yes" he simply said as if it was nothing.

By now I'm livid. How the fuck could he keep all this away from us? I feel like we deserve to know! Do mom even know he had a child? At this point I just stopped talking before I popped off.
