Small Filler Chapter. Next Chapter will be longer because of the surprise at the end of this one :)

I had woken up an hour ago and now I felt like I shouldn't of. I now sat on the bed with my legs crossed over the other facing the door that had a red line in front of it.

"To sweep it away or not to sweep it away?" I couldn't decide.

"i suggest you don't sweep it away." My eyes shifted upward to see Ruby with something in her hand.

"What, you don't know if he watches you in your sleep. Be happy that you can protect your room like this. and thank you for the diner protection lines too."

"It's the least I could do." I said before putting on my long silver necklace on and fixing my loose curls.

"Granny wanted me to give this to you. We haven't used it yet and since you plan on staying, you're going to need new clothes." She said placing what was in her hand on the bed. It was a credit card. She was about to leave until I caught her wolf scent.

"Must be hard to be around me with the craving to tear me apart, Ruby. I can't even imagine how hard it is to give into the craving." I said stopping her. Turning around, she looked at me.

"You know?" I nodded. Grabbing a piece of paper and a pen, I wrote down how I knew.

I'm a 538 year old vampire. I will always know before you.

Ruby looked at me then to the paper, back and forth. I got tired and annoyed of her doing that so I grabbed the paper and ripped it up.

"Oh my god and Henry thought that magic was something you were hiding. I'm not allowed to tell anyone else, am I?"

"No, you're not unless you want another enemy in your town." I half warned.

"ok then, well I'm glad to know it's not just magic then. Your secret's safe with me. Wow, I'm friends with a vampire-I mean you." Ruby caught herself and left.

I got up from my sitting position and picked up the ripped up pieces of paper and cupped them in my hand.

"Alright Kat, let's see if you really do have magic." I said in a joking matter but turned serious when I remembered a spell that Bonnie once chanted.

"Phasmatos Incendium." I opened my eyes and each little piece was on fire. I watched it all burn into the air and brought my hands down. Grabbing the card and my bag, I left the Inn and headed into town, hoping I wouldn't run into Peter.

I had three bag full of clothes and was in a small dress shop when an unwanted magic stepped into the store. The lady from behind the counter disappeared into the back room. I felt him stroll up behind me and I could practically hear him smile.

"What a beautiful color that would be on you. Red is definitely your color." He was being sarcastic as he took the dress from me and hung it back on the rack.

"I'm flattered you think so, Peter." I said grabbing it and walking away with it and up to the cash register.

"Excuse me, I would like to buy this dress, please." I said annoyed about this whole moment. The lady came out and I paid for the dress with Peter right next to me. She placed the dress nicely in a bag and passed it to me.

"Thank you." I said before leaving and ignoring Peter's presence.

"It's quite odd how someone as normal as you would have that kind of magic just appear."
