These mutants will do whatever it takes to protect their home and will do it all over again in a heartbeat. It's been weeks since the Krang and Shredder events took place in New York, and during that entire time, Y/n learned just two weeks ago about where she had come from... more like how her powers came to be.

 All thanks to Donatello, he did his research on her name and found that way before Y/n was born, her mother was exposed to a variety of herbal medications that had the oddest ingredients in them. These ingredients were rich, rare, and straight from the earth... difficult to find! In fact, only two people would find these special ingredients and the researcher who found these for Y/n's mother is one of them.

Y/n's mother was greatly ill and was to be treated urgently. So those herbs, other natural remedies, and medications were given to her by mouth-- a hot, steaming cup of tea.

Soon, Y/n's sick mother ended up getting better. So much better that her illness was cured as well as her other auto-immune diseases! Later, Y/n was born and as she grew up, she would discover her powers deep inside her. Never, did she think she would have these elemental powers and use them against the wicked in New York.

Whatever natural remedies and medications were in that cup of tea, Donnie believed they had the capability to grant people odd, yet unique abilities. It just so happens that Y/n is one of them and that made her happier than ever.

Now that she understood who she was and where she got these powers, she felt better within herself about it all. Y/n isn't worried, she isn't questioning things, she just accepted it.

She's a unique person who found four very unique turtles who accept her for who and what she is. And to put the icing on the cake, she ended up falling for one very special turtle who had touched her heart.
