I woke up a bit earlier than I wanted this morning. I feel utterly grouchy, in the mood to punch someone in the gut. I jumped out of bed, clinging onto a pillow and a blanket before landing on the couch. I yawned, my eyes filling with tears from it, so I wiped them before the liquid could run down my cheeks.

I sat there on my couch, not doing anything except staring at the dark screen of my television in front of me. I felt hypnotized by the faint reflexion it gave of me, blinking occasionally as my mind went blank. I blinked a few times, trying to stay focused on staying in the real world and not land on my planet of imagination.

I yawned again, standing up with wobbly legs. I unfolded the step ladder that was leaning against my wardrobe and pulled my curtain open, letting out a sound similar to one of a zombie. I did my usual routine of watering my little plants, making sure to move them around on my window ledge so they all could get some sun. I got down the step ladder, folding it again and heading back to my couch, wrapping myself in the blanket and cuddling my pillow.

That's when I remembered I sent a message to Jackson last night before I fell asleep. I got my arm out of the warm cocoon, reaching out for the cool surface of my phone. I grabbed it and unplugged it with one hand, bringing it in the blanket to use it. I squinted my eyes at the bright screen, adjusting the lighting of it so I wouldn't feel half blind cause of it.

He did in fact reply last night, about an hour after I fell asleep. I was a bit surprised to see his reply so late, but after reading his message, I rolled my eyes and did a facepalm.

"Sorry, I was having fun hunting dinner for the kittens," He wrote, a mouse emoji beside the first sentence. "But, what was it you wanted to discuss? I am assuming that you are sleeping at the moment, so reply when you wake up, sleeping beauty. Just make sure I don't have to run over to your place to wake you up. Goodnight!"

I let out a small giggle from the text, shaking my head a bit. I placed my thumbs over the touchscreen's keyboard, composing a message to reply. " No need to come to wake me up haha, I'm not a helpless princess thanks. Let's meet up at Lizy's cafe to talk." I replied, waiting to see if he might reply right away. My phone vibrated lightly as I received a reply.

"Sure, does 12 pm sound good? I'll treat you to lunch." He replies, making me giggle. "Ooh, is that a date? How sweet!" I replied, deciding to tease him. I checked the time quickly, seeing how much time I had before our meet up. We had about four hours before we needed to get to the cafe. I really need to find something to do... What if I hit up Sherly to see if she would like to do something before the final goodbye...

My phone buzzed again and I looked down at it. Jackson replied rather quickly, making me giggle again. He must have taken the bait again judging by the speed he replied. " No! Not a date, I wouldn't be daring enough to simply ask like that!" He said in his first message. A few more came in rather quickly, making me burst out laughing.

"Not that you aren't the type I wouldn't date, I mean you're cool and all..." "But I don't want to date you, I mean, we are just friends and all." " Oh my god, please don't hate me I don't want to date you but I don't mean it like you aren't a nice girl and all." I laughed at the texts. He really is easy to tease, it's quite adorable.

"Oh, my goodness, chill Jackson, I'm teasing you," I replied, still laughing as I got off my couch, stretching out a bit. A reply came in after about a minute or so. "So mean, why do you tease me so much?"  I laughed and closed the chat, opening the one with Sherly. "Hey, Sherly, think that we could do something before your brother leaves?"

I headed to my closet, pulling out a black and white knee-length dress. I only looked briefly out the window, but I had a feeling that it was warm out. I also took out my sunglasses and black flip flops. I did my blonde hair up in a bun, not wanting to deal with it being all over the place without the hair tie.
