Leo Valdez x reader oneshots and drabbles

Hera and Arachne suck

This takes place kind of during the mark of Athena I guess.

It had been around two weeks since the seven left for their quest. You had no idea if they were able to find Percy and the other two Roman demigods. You assumed they did but things must have gone bad between them, because everyday more and more Roman eagles were seen stalking your camp. Chiron feared they were planning to attack and start another civil war between demigods. Ugh not another war. You had already had enough of that from the battle of  Manhattan.

Today was just another boring day of you moping around and  missing  Leo. You were reading in your cabin alone and started to doze off. Like most demigods you had very real and vivid dreams. In your dream you saw Hera (ew hate her) looking straight at you.

"I believe those foolish demigods on that quest need your help (y/n)(l/n). I see your fate interlocked with theirs. You were meant to go on that quest. The prophecy of seven didn't mention you but I think you must be there to defeat Gaia. I have been watching you since you were a little girl.(cause that's totally not creepy xD) You are extremely powerful. I will do whatever I can to get you on that quest" Hera said to you in her annoyingly calm and regal voice.

You were shocked. "Why me?" You wondered.

"Do not question me demigod! Know your place." She snapped back.

"Ok ok sheesh."  Gods this lady annoyed you.

At this point you thought you were actually dreaming dreaming this. There was no way you were meant to be on that quest. Hera started fading away from your vision and you woke with a start. "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore." You said to yourself as you toppled on to a deck of a ship. Wait... this wasn't just any ship, this was the Argo II ! 

~Meanwhile on the Argo II~

The seven were having a last minute meeting at breakfast before everyone parted ways to look for nico in Rome. Percy was begging Annabeth to let him go on her quest with her when they heard a loud bang upstairs.

"Not again." They all groaned.

They went upstairs expecting to find some monster attacking their ship, but instead they saw an extremely confused looking you. 

"(Y/n)? What the hades are you doing here!" Leo exclaimed.

Right as you heard Leo's voice you jumped up and ran towards him and embraced him in a bone crushing hug.

"Oh my gods Leo! You're ok!" You mumbled through his shoulder.

"Uh wha ya" Leo stroked your hair in a sort of confused daze. How the heck did (y/n) get here?! 

A thought came to your mind as you hugged Leo. You lifted your head from his shoulder and looked at the rest of the seven. "Is Percy..." you couldn't see him because he was blocked from your line of vision by Jason and frank. Once he heard his name he pushed through them to see who said it. He gasped when he saw you. 

"Leo get the hell off my sister!" Was his response.

"Percy oh my gods you're alive!" You escaped Leo's arms and ran towards your older brother practically crying.

"Don't ever leave me alone like that again!" You said before you hugged him for the first time in six months. "I missed you so much." You admitted.

"I missed you too (y/n)." Percy said softly.

You all went back downstairs and you explained to them the dream message Hera sent you.

"Freaking Hera sending my baby sister on an extremely dangerous and life threatening mission." Percy grumbled obviously worried about you.

"Well people what's the game plan now that we have eight demigods?" Leo spoke up.

"Percy and I will find where I'm supposed to go for my quest. Jason, Piper and coach hedge can stay here to guard the ship, Leo, Hazel, Frank and (y/n) can go look for nico." Annabeth decided.

No one was brave enough to argue with Annabeth so you all agreed.

~time skip to the very end where Annabeth and Percy fall~

You tried to grab Annabeth's hand as the spider silk pulled her closer and closer to the edge. You missed but Percy successfully grabbed on only to be pulled with her. You wished there was some water around. Ughh why didn't you just bring a water bottle everywhere with you. You were ten times stronger when you had water. You screamed as Annabeth and then Percy  slipped over the edge.

"Meet me at the other side." Percy said before letting go of the edge.

"Percy no! I just got you back. You can't leave." You tried to hold your tears in.

~lol another time skip cause I can~

You sat in Annabeth's bed, which you were using since she was gone, and cried into your hands. How could you let that happen? You could've saved them! You kept telling yourself over and over. You didn't notice Leo walk in the room and continued sobbing. He immediately sat next to you and put his arms around you. 

"Hey it's going to be okay (y/n), Percy and Annabeth are going to make it I promise." Leo said trying to calm you down.

You tried to wipe your tears but more kept coming. " how can you be so sure. They're in Tartarus for Zeus' sake how can they survive that!"

"Percy and Annabeth are the strongest demigods I know, especially when they're together. I know they're going to pull through." Leo wiped a tear off your cheek  but you continued crying in his coller bone. He held you like that until you cried yourself to sleep. Eventually Leo fell asleep too.

About an hour later Piper came looking for you. She walked into your room and squealed waking you and Leo up.

"Oh my gods you guys are too cute!" She exclaimed excitedly.

You and Leo both blushed a deep red. "Please don't tell coach hedge. I don't want to be grounded!" Leo said.

"Don't worry your secrets safe with me." Piper giggled.

Ok sorry I know this one didn't have a lot of fluff and it was kind of boring but it was fun to write hehe. Again sorry if there are any mistakes I'm not the best at writing yet and I'm too lazy to reread the whole thing again :)
