Leo Valdez x reader oneshots and drabbles

You promised you'd come back (part one)

This is at the end of the blood of Olympus :) it kind of sad so hehe grab ur tissues.

The thought of fighting other demigods disgusted you. Every time a Roman demigod attacked you did your best to defend yourself without hurting them. The only demigods you would be okay with hurting were Octavian and Hercules (and a few others from mythology) . You felt an arm wrap around your waist and pull you into the nearest hiding spot. You tried to scream but your captor covered your mouth.

"Shh (Y/n) it's me!" You turned to see Leo scratched and bruised from recent fights.

"Leo we're kind of in the middle of defeating Gaia  here! What are you doing?" You whisper yelled at him.

"Look (y/n), I just wanted to say that I love you so much and you mean the entire world to me. I might not make it through this so I wanted to say goodbye." Leo said sorrowfully.

"No no no! Leo please don't say that. We're going to make it through okay?!" You anxiously said.

Leo looked at you with doubt. He looked completely sure he would die.

"Leo please don't!" You begged him. "Just this once don't do the heroic thing Leo. I-I don't know if I can live without you! Just stay with me and help me fight these Romans." You pleaded.

"To storm or fire the world must fall (y/n)." Leo quoted.

"No!" You kissed Leo and desperately ran your fingers through his curls, not wanting to lose them. Leo finally pulled away and hugged you quickly. 

"We've got to go before they find us! Come on we've got a war to win!" Leo yelled as he ran out of his hiding spot. You tried to follow him but you were surrounded by multiple half-bloods. You had no choice but to fight them off and let Leo go.

You defended camp as best you could as the ground shook and your feet sank. You saw Jason flying with Piper and the sludge lady herself following them but you had to stay focused on what you were doing. A couple minutes which felt like hours passed and you heard the loudest explosion you had ever heard your entire life. The ground stopped shaking and the earth was no longer impossible to walk on. They must have defeated Gaia. You laughed with relief and hurried off to find the seven. You had only felt this happy the first time Leo kissed you. You saw Jason and Piper looking exhausted next to a worn out Percy and Annabeth who were talking to a tired frank and hazel who were also with Nico and Will. You didn't see Leo anywhere.

"Did we do it guys?!" You excitedly asked trying to brush off your worry.

"Oh my gods finally yes." They all mumbled tiredly.

"So uh where's Leo?" You nervously asked.

Frank and Hazel exchanged nervous glances.

"Well um he's uhh." Hazel stuttered.

"Well? Where's my boyfriend guys?" You said raising your voice a little.

"(Y/n) look, Leo, well he didn't make it ok? He saved the whole world but sacrificed himself. We're all going to miss him so much but he did the right thing." Percy said trying to give the news as nicely as possible.

"No." You said , your voice almost impossible to hear.

"I felt him die (y/n), I'm the son of hades I know when people are dead. Leo is dead I'm sorry." Nico said.

"NO! He said he'd come back for me. He promised." You screamed and fell to your knees. Tears were already dripping down your chin. All the nearest water bottles exploded. Your happiest day turned into the worst. You started punching and hitting the ground.

"YOU BITCH! YOU TOOK HIM AWAY FROM ME! HOW COULD YOU. I FUCKING HATE YOU GAIA! GO TO TARTARUS!" Your knuckles were bleeding at your effort. 

The earth started shaking and everyone started freaking out because they thought it was Gaia again.

"Guys calm down! That's not Gaia, it's (y/n), I can feel it." Percy said.

"Um how is that (y/n)?" A few demigods asked.

"Poseidon isn't just the god of the sea, he's also the god of earthquakes. (Y/n)'s emotions are so strong right now that they're causing an earthquake. I didn't even know she could do that." Percy explained as he cautiously backed away from you.

Your whole entire life had just fallen apart in a matter of seconds. You forgot what it was like to be happy. All you could feel was sadness and heartbreak. You wanted to rip your heart out it hurt so bad. You ran towards the stables to find your Pegasus. 

"Skywin (or whatever name you like) let's go." You sobbed into the Pegasus' mane as you climbed on her.  

Since you were a daughter of Poseidon you could understand her thoughts perfectly. "Uh where too my lady?" Skywin asked nervously.

"The ocean. The middle of the ocean. I'll tell you where to drop me." You said.

"Ok then if you say so." And she took off.

You and Skywin traveled at least ten miles off the shore.

"Right here Skywin, I'm gonna jump.Thank you so much, I'll bring you an apple when I come back ok." You said as you jumped from her back.

You knew this part of the ocean by heart. It was where you always went when you were sad. There was even a little cave you'd hide in so Percy wouldn't  find you. You especially didn't want him to find you now. You just wanted to be alone. You cried there for hours until you thought you couldn't even produce tears anymore.(even though it was hard to tell underwater). You finally got yourself to head back to camp. Reluctantly you joined the feast in the dining pavilion. You didn't eat anything however. 

"How can you be celebrating when Leo is dead?" You yelled at Percy. It didn't matter since it was so loud in the dining pavilion.

"(Y/n) it's not like that. Leo would want us to celebrate him defeating Gaia. I really miss Leo too, but you have to accept his death. I know being a demigod really sucks." Percy tried to calm you down.

"Yeah it really does, but we should be looking for Leo! He could've survived. I don't care what Nico says." You stormed off.

"(Y/n)! Come back!" Percy called, but you were already gone.

There's gonna be a part two so keep staying tuned y'all! After that I'm probably going to do a lot more fluffy and cute oneshots. ;) (again sorry for any mistakes)
