Holy holy crap, today is the day! The day I finally graduate college! After four long years of working my ass off in the classroom, online, and in my clinicals I finally get to begin my professional career in a field I am passionate about! In two weeks from now I officially start my job at the Cancer Center in Cutthroat-Burns as a radiologic technician and I am so excited to say the least.

The interview process was easy going but yet very intimidating since I'd never had an interview for a professional full time job before. I was very nervous meeting with the director and he knew it too as he constantly reminded me to relax. I was more nervous for that than actually taking my board exams, which I passed with flying colors.

After my first interview I sat in my pickup for almost half an hour before my body was able to drive back home. I could barely eat for the next few days waiting to hear back from the director for a second interview, but it happened thanks to God.

So now Bella, her roommates, and other friends and I are heading out to brunch to have our own private celebration before we go to the ceremony later. I was dressed in black blouse with a few ruffles detailed into the top, white skinny jeans, and my shoes were my new black Steve Madden platform sandals and my hair was curled. Combined, we all really did look like we were college graduates celebrating because of our similar outfits mostly consisting of white and spring colors.

We picked a breakfast place that was a little more sophisticated than our usual taste because of the special day. It was a very cute bistro that was known for delicious mimosas and Belgium waffles to die for.

The hostess sat us on the outside patio that had a great street view of downtown Laramie. Sierra surprises us when she shows up just a minute after us with balloons that looked like they came from Party America, celebrating our graduation. We all thought the sight was comical as we tied the balloons to the center pieces and as cars passed by they honked at us.

After I sipped my delicious and refreshing mimosa, I felt my phone buzz in my back pocket. I gently set my champagne glass down and pull out my phone to see a text from Weston, "Good morning, beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day today as you finally graduate college and pursue one of your dreams! I'm bummed I can't be there to out yell everyone there and so how proud I am of  my girl... I'm so sorry darlin. But just remember how much your family and I are excited for you. Love you, pretty girl."

My heart aches in adoration for Weston's words since he can't make it today because he's in Arizona doing his own thing, which I don't blame him for doing. Even though I wish we could share this experience together, remembering how he played a huge part of me getting through my exams and my interviews to get to this day. "Thank you, Weston! I am so lucky to have you in my life, I love you so much! Please be safe today <3" I reply back to him, to see him open it immediately.

"I will, Bonner is driving back so I can Facetime your mom as you walk."

"Aww that's so sweet! Talk to you later, handsome." I say putting down my phone so I don't miss out my friends and I celebrating our accomplishments.

The dorm halls are flooded with crazy girls running up and down back in forth between the bathroom and their rooms. It's also flooded with loud hair dryers, music, and yelling through the walls. Luckily, Bella and her roommates have a suite so it comes with its own bathroom, but it was still crowded since girls from other rooms came in here to share.

We're all in bathrobes as we apply our makeup and do our hair, we probably looked like a cliche 70s movie. I had my curls pinned to my head so they last throughout the day, another girl has curlers in her hair, and as girls straighten their hair they have big clips to hold their hair. It was actually bittersweet and entertaining to see us in this kind of state, most likely for the last time all together.
