Joe's POV:

" Good morning Jospeh and Dianne. You fly to New York City today at 10.30am. The weather in New York is currently clear and sunny, allowing for a flight time of approximately 9 hours."

Urghhhhh!Alexa, be quiet." I groan, rolling over to pull the sleeping redhead slightly closer to me, inhaling her soft, sleepy scent before stroking the hair off her face and pressing a gentle kiss to her temple. "Di darling, time to wake up my love. We need to get a shift on so we can get to the airport on time." Glancing down at her, I can't help but stare at her as she stirs; It's the same every-time she wakes- the eyelashes flutter gently, her nose scrunches, hands drift to her face and rub her eyes before those beautiful amber eyes open and she rolls into me. This morning is no different and every single day, I feel my heart melt with her a little more as she reaches up to touch my face, nuzzling ever so slightly closer as she fully wakes up. "Morning little one, are you excited to go today?" she questions, lifting herself out of my grip and standing up, beginning her morning stretch and heading to the bathroom, humming tunelessly as she starts her morning routine. Stretching and rolling out of bed, I grab my travel clothes that I had left out yesterday and get myself ready. As we dance round each other, grabbing last minute things that we had forgot to pack, essentials and the final hand luggage items, I can't help but realise just how well we fit together, work together and exist together.

We just WORK.

A soft touch brings me from the thoughts, "Joe? Car is here my love, you ready?" she asks, lifting my rucksack and her hand luggage, leaving me with the suitcase and the keys to lock up our apartment. In the lift, I press an emotional kiss to her forehead, " I love you Dianne Buswell. I say it a lot but it's true. I love you. Forever. " I gush, only disturbed when the doors ping open, announcing our arrival on the ground floor. Interlocking out fingers, we head towards the car, load the suitcases and make our way towards the airport, leaning on each other as the early morning London lights rush past us. The journey remains silent but there are no words needed: I can tell the excitement is radiating off my girlfriend as her leg bounces and her nails trace a frantic pattern against my hand as we pull up outside our terminal. Dragging her from the car and gathering our things, we check-in and get settled in a little booth outside duty free. Dianne signs off into her little editing world and I use this opportunity to sneak away for my surprise for her, just a little "thank you and well done". I'm hoping to upgrade our seats to business class as Di had mentioned briefly before that she has never travelled above coach. She deserves a rest and an easy flight after being on tour for so long and as soft as it sounds, I love treating my little bean, she works so bloody hard all the time and barely ever has any set time off so I want to make this count for her.

Dianne's POV:

Curling up into the corner of the booth we had inhabited, I set up my laptop and plug in my earphones. For some reason, I always find editing in the airport so much easier, my focus is brilliant in a busy environment weirdly. " Hey Dianne? I'm nipping to the loo okay? We should have loads of time but call me if the gate shows yeah?" Joseph mutters, kissing my head on the way past as he leaves. Watching as he leaves, I quickly notice that they toilets are the other direction but he doesn't hear me as I call after him...he will figure it out, he's a big boy I suppose. Laughing lightly and shaking my head, I bring myself back into focus, determined to get this video finished before we board the plane and get it uploaded as soon as possible.

Joe reappears once again with his signature smirk on his face, the smirk that usually means he is up to something...but what? " You okay Joseph? Find the toilets in the end?" I smile, watching the confusion creep into his face. " What do you mean?" he chuckles, reaching out to hold my hand across the table, stroking his thumb gently over my knuckles. " You walked off to the loo but you went the wrong direction, I figured you'd find them eventually. And here you are." I giggle, teasing him again as he pulls a face. Interrupting our playful banter, the tanoy comes on, "FLIGHT 348 to New York now boarding from gate 18" and with that, Joseph was on his feet, stuffing our belongings into our bags and dragging me towards the gate before I even knew what was happening. It's a good job I love that man, stressy or not, he's still my Joseph.

As we head out onto the tarmac, I head towards the middle door but once again, Joe drafts me to the front door and hands out tickets to the air hostess, who guides us towards business class. "Joe? What's going on? Where are we going?" I litter against his shoulder as he holds me close, gently pushing me into our seats so we can get settled. As we sit, im still in shock as Joe pulls me to face him, "Surprise my love! You surprised me with a holiday so I got us a little upgrade so you can get a decent rest on the plane and we can beat as much of the jet lag as possible. We've got reclining seats, blankets and food to order. You deserve this my darling, you really do." He murmurs, with one hand placed on my face as I nuzzle into him. "Joseph...I don't know what to say...i love you! This is amazing! I can't believe it!" No one has ever done this for me, I'm both speechless and emotional and the only way I can fully show it is by peppering his face with kisses, holding it between my hands. Settling against Joe, the flight passes uneventfully, with minor turbulence ( he even put my seatbelt on for me, bless him!)and soon we are safely in New York.

This is amazing.

After getting sorted in our hotel room, we head to the rooftop bar and order a few drinks between us. This is the first time we have managed to have a date night, completely undisturbed and between just us. "Joe this is so nice, just us. No stress of having to go somewhere tomorrow or do something, no watching for paparazzi, just the two of us, having a few drinks and chatting about our crazy lives. I love you." I whisper, as we watch the sun set or the city skyline. He reaches over the table, drawing my chin up so we are gazing into each other's eyes. He has a look of seriousness but he equally seems so content- maybe IM the one who can't read emotions easily...he reads me like a bloody book!
"Dianne Claire Buswell, I would do anything for you, you know that right? If you want a date night with just us, I'll find a way to clear out London if I have to. You know me better than most people, with the exception of Zoe of course. You know I have never done this before, the love thing, the relationship thing and I haven't a clue most of the time. But I do know this; I am madly in love with you, completely and utterly in love. I will go to the end of the Earth, the moon, to Mars for Christ sake, just to prove how special you are. One day, you'll see it too and hopefully you'll finally believe me when I tell you just how amazing you are."

Reaching up to wipe away a tear which had fallen, he places a sweet kiss on my lips and with that, my heart explodes. "For the second time today, you have left me speechless and you KNOW that's not easy for me. I love you with everything I have and more. Let's make this a holiday to remember forever Joseph, because I sure as hell have never ever felt this in love with someone, so no matter what, I know we will make memories to treasure forever. So cheers! To being in love in New York."
With that we clink our glasses together and return to our earlier conversation and begin planning our city adventures for tomorrow.
