Chapter 6

"Oh.. God... " I heard Elizabeth say.

I had finished telling her what happened that night.

"Yeah. Liz, I was so scared terrified I never thought it would happen to me. I thought I was going to die.." I put both my hand on my face and cried.

"Shhh...shh," Elizabeth said while wrapping me up with her arms.

"It's over you 're alive now that's all that matters." She said "And if I ever see that asshole I will chop off his balls and staple them to his forehead. Then i'll tell my dad to shoot him with his favorite hunting gun." I gave a weak soft laugh Beth always knew how to make me laugh.

Then I said, "Well how have you been? How is your relationship?"

"Same old. & OMG!!! Me and Connor going to make 3 years next week ahhhhh!!!!" she said excitedly.

Conner was her boyfriend they have been going out since 8th grade. He had short cut brown hair and brown eyes and around 5'6, He treated her right which was good, me and him got along so that was good.

"I'm so proud of you guys." I said with a smile I am happy for her he was a keeper.

"Oh I forgot there is a party tonight at Melissa's house wanna go?" She asked happily.

I knew she was trying to cheer me up from what happen. And I also knew that she would beg trillion times. Ugh I am really not in the party mood, its not that I was not in pain as I was before. But I also didn't want to ruin this.

"Uh sure. But I don't know if you know but my face" I rubbed my hand around my face "Is fucked up." I said with a small smile.

"Oh I can fix that with MAKE-UP DUH." she said

"But I have nothing to wear as you can see my bag doesn't have dresses." I said hoping she'll say 'we won't go then' but. Nope. That didn't happen.

"Here you can borrow this." she went to her closet and pulled out a red dress and threw it at me.

I caught it the fabric felt so smooth and perfect I held it up to get a better view it was strapless and It looked like it would reach on to my knees and just look gorgeous.

"Thanks, Liz" I said

"No problem so we have..." she look at her phone to check the time "3 HOURS AHHHHHH!!! WE HAVE TO GET READY NOW."

I laughed a little Elizabeth always took her time on everything so she would need 4 hours at least to get ready for a party I know she is insane. She annoyed me about that an I always told her about it.

2 hours 30 mins later

"Ugh Lizz!!!!! you done?" I complained.

"You can''t rush perfection and I still have 30 mins leave me alone." she said

"You suck." I said as walked out the bathroom door to the bedroom.

I sat at her white covered bedsheets and looked at the mirror in front of me the dress look perfect it fit me as a glove and look good on my pale skin and had a natural color eye make-up and bold red lips that Elizabeth did it was out of my comfort zone but she convince me she did wonders with her make up you couldn't tell any of my bruises but my lip still look bigger and my brown long hair was curled. And I paired it with silver heels I also borrowed from Elizabeth.

But when I was not in a party mood ugh after everything I closed my eyes and re-open them. Ugh.

50 minutes later.

"Okay I'm ready," she said and walked out the restroom.

"damnn!!!!" I said teasing her.

She slapped my arm.

She was wearing a black simple dress like mine with slight shimmer on top.

"Okay let's go." she said and grabbed my arm.

I am so gonna regret this.

"Oh.. God." I whispered, me and Liz got out the car and what I saw in front of me was insane there was so many cars the music loud and lights going through the windows.

"OMG THIS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!!!" Liz squealed.

I looked at her like she was insane.

"You're nuts. I think I'll just go bac-" I said backing up to her car.

"Oh NO your not bailing on me come on please. You look gorgeous and If you don't like it in a hour we will just go home okay." she said

"I-uh okay fine." I said

And she squealed and pulled me to the house. I was so out of my element right now I would like to be in a room reading a book rather than this. Ugh.

As we entered inside the house my ears hurt just by how loud the music was. I felt my arm pull to the left I turn to see Liz pointing to the kitchen. Then we walked in. Then I guess she wanted to get a can of coke or even dr.pepper but then I see what she hands me.

I just stare at the bottle of Corona Extra see the water droplets on the bottle.

I guess Elizabeth saw my shocked face because she said "Oh come on Olivia you had a rough couple of days, it's one beer I'm not asking you to take shots with me, and here." she hands me a slice of lime and small salt shaker. "It will taste better just relax babe." She said after she open her bottle with her teeth. My mouth open wide to see her do that and she just smile and open mine next.

"Cheers." she raise up her bottle. "For 8 years of friendship!" And she drank from her bottle then added salt to her lime and sucked her lime.

"Cheers," I say then I mumble "Here goes nothing." I put the bottle up to my mouth and the alcohol was strong to my throat and it sting then sucked on the lime with salt it was sour but aye it tasted good not gonna lie.

"Okay well I'll be right back l am going to find Connor." she said.

Then I grabbed her by the arm and said "Wait! You're leaving me." I looked around to see girls having shots with guys and I feel awkward.

"Oh come on Liv I will be right back, you're seventeen going to be eighteen you're not five years old." she said and walked out the kitchen.

"Ugh. Great. Just great." I mumble to myself.

I looked outside the window to a huge pool that had white lights around the tree around the back yard and had people swimming either in their dresses or naked... oh god.

I turned my head blushing and laughed a little, people are insane.

I waited a couple of minutes and I decide to walk around the backyard passing the pool I really didn't want to see naked people right now.

I kept walking Melissa house was enormous and her backyard was larger her parents are owners of a huge company and they are basically stack with money.

I saw a large tree it has red bricks around it and i wiped it a little and I sat down I was still near the house I could hear 'Madness by Muse' playing in the house and I love muse and I sang softly to myself then I stopped just looking up at the bright shiny stars on the sky and then moon shine so bright it was beautiful and I felt peaceful.

I have no idea how long I stayed there just sitting I finished my beer and was about to get up to get a other one when I hear a twig snap.

I snap my neck to the left where I heard the noise and I saw the one and only.
