Chapter 8

"Heeyyy." I said awkwardly "I-uh. Gotta go I need to uh find my friend. Bye" I said awkwardly trying to walk and me being my clumsy self I trip.

Then I felt those strong arms of his wrap around me lifting me up I turn to face him. God his face look even more perfect those eyes the were so bright I just felt weak under his stare.

He was studying me with his eyes then I guess he realize I was drunk.

"Olivia are you drunk?" he asked then he pulled me up and put his arms over his chest after that I miss the warm touch of his hands.

"Pshh." I pointed to myself. "Me? Drunk uhh no why would you think that ?" I was totally drunk but I was not about to admit that even though I knew he knew I was lying.

"Oh really." he said. "Let me smell your Breath ." he order me.

"Uh what?"

"You heard me." He demanded.

Crap I'm so going to get into trouble of great JUST FUCKING GREAT .

"Okay fine ." I stepped closer and tilted my head back so that I met his stare and slowly let out a breath. Ugh why does this happen I'm so fucking screwed.

"God. Your breath reeks of alcohol. Come with me." Adrian demanded.

I realize right now was absolutely not the time to be stubborn I grab on to his arm trying to adjust myself then he took me to his cop car. Ugh I'm going to get so much trouble.

We reached his cop car and I tried to open the car but for some reason I couldn't do it I kept struggling to. The handle kept moving and couldn't grab it. Adrian stared at me from the other side annoyed and went over my side.

"Olivia here it's right here." he said

Then he open the door for me I mumble a quick thanks and got in. I sat down inside the car then I laid my head on my hands.

"Gosh I am such a IDIOT!" I said to myself why the first time I decided to relax a little I get caught just great.

I didn't even notice but Adrian was next to me looking at me kind of disappointed.

"So I'm guessing this is the part were you take me to jail?" I said as I laid my head back.

"Olivia.." he said softly.

I turn to see him still staring at me.

"Yeah?.."

"Why? why would you drink you know your underage why would you think that's okay?" He said.

"I don't know." I said as I looking down to my hands "I-I just thought I could let loose a little stop worrying and just have no care in the world. After the crap that I've been going through it seemed like a good idea at the time. Which was not a good idea seeing you as you caught me."

I paused then said, "are you going to arrest me now?"

He sighed and look around and the house clear out and the other cop cars left already and the party people the house looked abandon now "Okay I know I'm not supposed to do this but I will let it pass, but you have to promise me I won't see you in this condition ever again ."

I looked at him my eyes basically out of my skull "You're-you're letting me go?" I asked and he gave a stiff nod.

"Oh my god thank you thank you." and all the sudden I reached over to his seat and gave him a big grateful hug. I could tell he was shocked by my hug because he stiffened and didn't hug back.

I backed away feeling embarrassed about what I just did.

"Thank you.." I said

"You thank me a lot you know that," he said.

"Yeah well you save my ass twice," I said with a smile. Then I realize something I looked around the neighborhood and realize Elizabeth car is nowhere in sight.

"Crap," I said and closed my eyes.

"What's wrong?" he asked

"My dumbass friend left me! ugh not again!!" I groaned in frustration "Ugh she does this all the time she sucks man ."

Elizabeth always did this at parties she would stay with me a couple minutes then she would leave to find Connor but she would usually come back with him and we would all have fun but by the end of the night they would leave and go to Conner's and she would spend the night and leave me behind it happen over 5 times. But I would just find a ride and go back 'home' but since I'm not in good terms with Christina I can't go home and I can't just go to Elizabeth's without her, her dad would freak out if I was not with her. I have nowhere to go great just my luck.

I explain Adrian my situation and he was listing to every word I said.

"So you have no place to stay tonight?" he asked.

"Pretty much." I look down at my hands again trying to think a place I could crash for a couple hours till 9 or 10 a.m then it came to me.

"Take me to Anna's Homes," I said still looking at the floor.

"No!" he said in a demanding voice.

why does he have to be so damn demanding it's annoying.

Oh you know it turns you on.

Shut up dirty thoughts get away.

"I am not taking you to a shelter at." he glance at his watch "2 in the morning."

"Anna won't mind." I said softly "she knows me I used to go there all the time I still do sometimes."

The shelter was more of a home than Christina's.

"No I won't take you there ." he said quickly.

"Well you don't have to I can walk I have legs for a reason don't I." I said about to open the door when he took ahold of my hand pulling me back to the seat. I just kept staring ahead.

"No, wait. uh how about I let you crash at my place I don't mind it's just a couple hours no big deal right?" He said.

Wait what I turn to him he was looking at me waiting for my response I didn't know what to say.

"Oh no it's okay I don't want to be a burden to you." I said it was nice an all but I didn't want to impose.

"You won't it's fine I don't mind." he said still waiting for me

"Okay." I finally said looking back at him his lip twitch upward for a second then he was having an emotionless face expression and started the car.

Was I going to regret this?
