Chapter 12

It was Friday afternoon me and Elizabeth were walking around the mall finishing dropping off all my job applications.

"I hope I get the coffee shop job free coffee all the time I mean." I said.

"Yeah pretty cool." she said.

"Aye what's wrong you look depressed?" I asked.

"It's just Conno-"

"Want me to find guys to jump him." I cut in.

"No, it's just he seems distance lately?" She looked so worry it look like she thought Connor was Che-.

"Wait you don't think Connor is CHEATING!" I screamed.

She quickly put her hand over my mouth and whispered "Shut up I don't want people to know my business!"

She removed her hand and I said "Sorry but why would you think that? Connor loves you he wouldn't hurt you."

"I don't know its just he's been acting so weird but I should just put that thought away maybe it's something else. Well enough about me. Oh my god." she said looking over my shoulder I was about to turn when she held me still "Don't look now but Courtney coming this way."

Oh great Courtney my nemesis from 5th grade she used to pick on me and bully me with her friends and till this day she made it her life mission to make my life a living hell.

"Oh Oliviaaa." Her annoying voice came behind me.

I turn to face her and she was there standing her with her light brown curly hair and her brown eyes staring at me she had a basic white shirt and over it she had a red flannel and high waisted shorts and a handbag with ice-coffee on her other hand. God she's the definition of basic trash.

"Hey. " I said dryly.

"Well that's not a good way to greet a friend now is it." she said.

"I don't recall me and you being friends."

"Of course we are friends I mean we been knowing each other for such a long time. We are practically family."

I laughed at that.

"Someone being rude today, I should teach you a lesson." She said.

Before I could say something back she raised her cup and drench me in ice-coffee. I shivered of how cold it was I was about to punch her right there.

"You BITCH" I heard Elizabeth said about to launch at Courtney.

"That's ENOUGH. " I heard a deep familiar voice said behind me.

I turned and saw him. Adrian.

I heard laughter all around me and I ran out the mall furious and humiliated.

"OLIVIA WAIT UP!!!!!!" I heard Adrian call out to me but I kept walking I wanted to be left alone forget about this I wanted to kill Courtney.

Then I felt someone grab my arm.

"I said to wait." said Adrian.

I had my head down not wanting him to look at me. He quickly cupped my face so that I made eye contact with him I tried to move but he had a firm grip.

"Teenage girls are horrible.' " he said with disgust.

"No kidding."

"Come on let me take you home get you clean up, though I do like the smell of coffee." He said sniffing my hair.

I punch his arm playfully. "Shut up."

He put his hand over his arm "Uh assaulting an officer Ms.Hall, I should report you." He said with a smirk.
