Chapter 9

The car ride was silent for awhile till he spoke up.

"So when are you going to talk to  Christina?" He asked.

I still stared up ahead I didn't know what to do I mean what can I do. me and her couldn't last 5 minutes talking without her talking crap about me.

"I don't know." I said leaning on the window.

"Well you are going to have to talk to her soon you know." he said

"I know." I whispered.

5 minutes later...

"Here we are." Adrian said.

I turn to see a 2 story house I couldn't make out how it look it was too dark for me to tell.

The car door open and it was Adrian he leans in a little to help me get up the car I took ahold of his hand, then got up.

I stared down at my bare feet walking on the cold concrete trying to make sure I wouldn't trip on anything. He was leading me to the front door still holding me this time his arm was around my waist holding me up. There were steps on the porch 3 exactly and he was helping me up.

I put my head up and saw he was unlocking the door already and open the door and turned on the light switch I winced at them brightness.

He leads me to the couch and sat me down. I took in the house there was a chimney with white bricks around it on top of the chimney was a shelf with pictures I'm guessing it was his family. And I was sitting on a black comfy couch I laid the heels down and Adrian came back to the room with water.

"Here this should help you." he said handing me a gigantic glass of water and I chugged it down happily.

"Better?" He said

"Better," I said wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.

"Okay let me show you to the room." he said standing up.

"Oh no it's fine I'm good on the couch." I said and I meant it I was good sleeping outside on the porch for Christ sake.

"Couch? No, I don't think so, here come on ill show you to the guest room." He moves his head to point to the stairs.

"No I mean it I'm fi-." I said

"No no no you're going to sleep in the guest room and that is final," he said.

I gave a weak nod.

"Let's go." he started walking up the white tile stairs and I quickly followed behind him I tried to focus on each step by the forth one I basically slam myself and fell.

"SHIT!" I said.

"Oh crap I'm sorry I should of help you up." he said walking down the stairs and grabbed me by the waist and pick me up I laid my hands on his shoulders and look up and gave a weak laugh.

"I'm a klutz sorry," I said.

He looks straight into my eyes I could have sworn his eyes landed on my lips for a second and said "Its fine." he said with a smile.

"Let's try this again." he said and walked up the stairs him by my side.

"And here you are." He opens the door and it open to a room that had a queen size bed it was a dark burgundy color wood and covered with a black bed spread.

"Well, I will be in the room down the hallway if you need anything just come to my room and ask." He said.

"This is more than enough thank you." I said then he nodded and left the room. I look more into the room it had a large tv and had a huge closet and a lot more.
