I didn't even make it to class. I was thinking of what Jessica said. She doesn't even know how true it is. I'm moving on yeah. Moving to a new school, house, town. New everything! It's exciting yes but I'm just nervous.
I started to walk out of the school when Jay caught me.
"Woah there. What about our pizza date?"
"Your sister set it all up I know all about it. I heard her chewing Chase out at the lockers. She was the one who heard our break up. She's the only one who knew I have a photo of him under my mattress. You don't have to take me on a date. You can buy me pizza though." I smirked. He laughed,"well then. Let's go grab some pizza and I'll take you home."
"Kay." I laughed. It was a fake laugh of course. I haven't laughed a real laugh in ages.
We got to the pizza shop and he asked what kind of pizza I wanted. "Um, pepperoni." He ordered and payed for it and handed it to me. "Aren't you gonna take a piece?" I asked on our way back to my house. We where two houses away. "No," he laughed. "I bought it for you!" He smiled. "You think I can eat all of this myself!?" I asked obviously flustered. "It's a small." He simply said. By the time we where done talking we where at my house. "Well I should get going." He said.
"Oh no you don't. You're coming in and you're taking a slice for you and Jess." He chuckled. "You really don't have too."
"Too bad." I smiled. I grabbed a plate from the cabinet and placed two slices and then covered it with foil. I handed it to him right when Jenny came in. "Jay!" She exclaimed. "It's been a while!" She wrapped him in a hug. He laughed," yeah, I guess it has." He said with a smile. They where really close when James dated Jessica. She was the only girl he dated and the last.. Jenny was like a nanny to Jay. That's why they're so close. I was sorta jealous of it to be honest. "Well, ya better get that pizza home so you and Jess can eat up before church." I said making my way to open the door. "Oh yeah! I almost forgot about that!" He exclaimed. "Bye Jen!" He said while hugging her again. "Bye Rose hope you feel better." He gave me a sympathetic look. What no hug!? Be that way. I closed the door and turned to see Jen look sad. "What?"
"How are we gonna tell him that we're moving tonight?" She asked. "Woah. Tonight!? What about my locker!?"
"Don't worry. I had your principal bring them over while you where out." She said. I sat down and grabbed a slice of pizza. "Where are we moving to anyways. And where are the kids?"
"We're moving to and old Victorian house in LA. And the kids are asleep."
"Really!?" I said while stuffing the rest of the pizza down my throat. I love old things. I jumped and ran up to my room.
I saw boxes sitting around my room waiting to be filled. I pulled out my iPhone and decided to send a quick text to Jess and Jay. After the text went through I started to put things into the boxes. I first started putting my books away because hey I'm gonna pack my favorite things first. it took up two boxes so I labeled them both 'books' and set them in the hall way next to each other. Apparently we had to work fast and the living room wasnt even packed yet!
"Hey Jen! What about the living room!" I shouted. It took her a minute to reply. "Oh, I sold all the furniture to the new family!" She called back. What!? We won't have any furniture!
"What do you mean!?" I shouted. "The last family that lived there left everything there so we have alot of things there already. Like furniture, some dishes, beds, we even have some of they're clothes! It's almost like they where killed or just up and disappeared." She called back. That's strange. Why would a family leave all of they're things at an old house. But hey less hassel for me. "I decided I'd let you keep a few pieces of furniture from your parents room if you want. If you don't then I'll just sell them at last minute to the family."
