"Excuse me ma'am, I need to see your ID before you can enter this building."
"Oh, but of course"
Piper McLean stood at the security point at the entrance of Valdez Industries, rummaging in her bag for her ID. If she was in this situation seven years ago, she would be ecstatic to see her best friend again. However, right now she was paying a visit for business and business only.
"Thank you ma'am, do you have a scheduled meeting?"
"Yes, if you would so kindly let me in..."
There were perks of previously being a demigod, and charmspeak was one of them. The guard showed her the way, and when she reached two metal doors, an electric voice began speaking.
"Please scan ID... Please scan-"
Piper swiped her card and waited.
"Welcome Peppa McAllen."

Piper reached the top floor, which was so large that of course it wouldn't occupy anything besides the office of Leo Valdez. She picked the lock with a needle from her bag and proceeded to sneak into the room. She caught a glimpse of his face from across the room, and he looked almost identical to how she remembered, the same scruffy hair, greased face and scrawny physique, besides the gaping, glowing, blue hole in his chest.
"Hello Miss McAllen- Wait hold up!?"
Piper let out a short breath, and here she was thinking he wouldn't be able to hear her.
"Piper...is that you? I've missed you so much!"
"As is to be expected."
"How are you doing?"
"Fine."
"Dude what happened? You used to be rad, but now you're all sad!"
"I'm here to talk Valdez. About the prophecy."
Piper pulled out a chair from the desk and swung her legs round onto the table.
"I presume you received the message from Chiron aswell, because it's inevitable that you are apart of the ten. As for the other eight it would be : Chase, Jackson, Levesque, Zhang, Di Angelo, Solace and the Grace siblings. I've managed to locate everyone, and as of this week, we will all be in Manhattan, thus the meeting on the 3rd of July. I've already spoken to Zhang and Chase about it and from what I know, the threat is an old friend. Thanks for the cookie by the way. "
With that Piper walked out with a cookie in her hand, leaving behind an extremely confused Leo Valdez.
