The night passed and they were taken to see Lord Celeborn and the Lady Galadriel. Loswen was eager to avoid any conversations with the elf prince as they made their journey. Luckily he did not seem interested in her at all. He spoke to the four elves in their own tongue far ahead of Loswen and Aragorn.

" I think he likes you. " Aragorn disrupted. Loswen's thoughts had been wandering to and fro. From one beautiful sky high tree to another. " Who?" She finally responded, but her eyes flew to Legolas. Quickly she darted them back onto the trees. " I think you already know of whom I speak." He smiled. The lady sighed and thought hard about elves. From what she knew they were beautiful creatures. They loved the light of all, sun, moon and stars. They, for some reason, did not have a liking to dwaves. And they despised darkness. " I dont think so." Her head shook in what seemed to Aragorn as disappointment. " And why not?" "Hes an elf,he hates evil. As far as I know...Im evil." Aragorn looked at her as if he had seen a war. He knew she felt ill of herself, but not like this. He wanted to grab her face and tell her she was perfect and beautiful and good as he looked her straight in the eye. He wanted to embrace her and tell her she didn't need to hurt herself. He wanted her to know she was worth it.

Legolas glanced back at Aragorn and Loswen. He saw pity in the ranger's eyes,in hers he saw disappointment. Legolas looked before him and wondered what in the beautiful land of Lothlorien could possibly disappoint her. Perhaps it was Aragorn,he thought.

Loswen looked upon the lord and lady. Her breath was stolen from her lungs as her eyes met their elvish perfection. Loswen had though the elves in Rivendell were the most beautiful beings she ever lay her eyes upon, but the pale yellow haired mysteries that stood before her were far more than she could have wished to see.

They sat upon a large table. The lord and lady sat on the left most. Beside Lord Celeborn sat Legolas, across him Aragorn and Loswen. The company spoke of greatness in middle earth. Of old, too, they touched. But Loswen had been too occupied to listen. Her mind wandered to great lengths. She thought of her family, the one she had left. She thought of what could happen to her, what could have already happened to her. Why was she a beast here? And since when has she been in this world of magic.

Late into the night Loswen strolled across the large gardens of Lorien. She regretted how she could not force herself to listed during the dinner. In her long hopes for answers, that could have been the chance.

In the distance she could hear a soft melody, from a harp,Loswen thought. Through the trees and down several steps, each taking her closer to the growing melody.

Loswen stood before a gathering of large trees, the music still in her ears. Through a small gap her gaze met a twinkle in the distance. She gathered her will and pressed through. Not far into the woods,Loswen saw the Lady Galadriel. A golden harp in her hand of which where the enchanting melody came. Her golden hair looked ever so slightly silver under the moonlight. The lady suddenly stopped. Her gaze flew up to Loswen,a smile across her thin lips. She motioned for Loswen to come forward.

Loswen sat at the foot of the Lady, who rested on a large boulder adorned with flowers that glittered under the stars. " Why have you come. " Galadriel's soft voice sounded almost melodic. Loswen could not respond for a while, but she smiled and held out the necklace she had stolen from an elven king. Galadriel took it in her hands. " This is a very powerful necklace. What do you wish to do with it? " Loswen took her time to think.

" Rid myself of evil. " She finally blurted out. Lady Galadriel's expression had not changed since she had spoke. " Gandalf says I can...he also said you might be able to help. " For even a fraction of a second,Loswen thought she had seen the Lady frown, which quicly dispersed. " I cannot purify you..." Galadriel began. "...only you shall be able to do so. With time, yes. But it is not my job,nor in my hands to do so. These following days, you shall be tested. Your worth shall need proving,if you make the right choices, the rewards shall follow. "

Through the sleepless night,Galadriels words repeated in Loswen's ears. She looked over to Strider, who looked uneasy in his sleep. Legolas was off with other elves exploring Lothlorien. She looked at the ranger, the elf friend. If only, she thought,he knew what he was with. Perhaps everone else in Lothorien does. They say elves live forever,no doubt some elves knew what she was as Celebrion did. " Loswen. " Someone whispered. The lady looked up and saw the blonde haired elven prince. Crouched down, balancing on a branch. He motioned for her to follow.

Legolas took Loswen into one of the gardens she hadn't seen. In the garden was a small stream filled with water lilies. They seemed to glitter as the other flowers had. Everything in Lothorien was so full of lively glow. Even in the dark of night.

" Tomorrow I shall ride to Rivendell with you and Aragorn. There I shall decide whether I take the necklace back to my father,or not. " He simply stated. Loswen wished that she could trust him whole heartedly,as she did with Strider, but she couldn't.

The night passed. A bright burst of morning awakened Loswen, only to see that Strider had already risen.

They arrived through the west and shall exit through the east. Their departure was seen by the lord and lady, bestowing upon them several gifts. For Legolas a strong and mighty white steed,to Aragorn,a silver dagger that felt as light as a feather in his grasp, and for Loswen,a small bottle filled with glowing blue fluid. " It shall glow when you are in peril. " Said the Lady Galadriel.
