Loswen woke to find herself surrounded by large statues.
Slightly human they looked, yet large, strong and scary. Teeth sharp as razors, hands as large as her face. They seemed to be looking to a large boulder that has split in two, giving them a view of the sunrise just hours ago. ' What are these creatures? ' She asked herself. ' Trolls,my dear. ' Something answered from within. ' Don't you remember? '
It wasn't a voice, nor was it a thought. Just an answer,as if she's already known all along.
Far south,Legolas and Aragorn neared the river Limlight, travelling through day and most of night, hoping to reach Orthanc as soon as possible.
The sun rose a few hours ago with Aragorn weary. The elf had much stamina and did not fail to push through. " Aragorn,it is such a familiar name. " The elf broke. The ranger nodded. " Some have claimed it before I. " He merely stated. Deep down,he knew more, and the elf speculated such, too, but the quest was yet to be conquered,so the elf kept still of his thoughts.
Back north, nearing Rivendell, was Thorin and his company of dwarves and a hobbit. As far as they knew, the ash winged witch was far away, yet close did she lurk in the Troll Shaws, too, unknowingly.
" Fili, how do you feel? " Aksed his brother. " Thats the fifth time you've asked me today!" Scowled the older dwarf. Kili smiled and shoved Fili. " The witch, she was odd. " He said, falling to the ground. " Well, isn't that what you would expect from a witch!" Bofur called.
The young brothers were falling behind, yet neither seemed to care. " i tell you,Kili, the witch, she wasn't the one that cursed me. " Kili looked at his brother staring into the distance,as if enchanted by some unseen magic. " She was red as fire... eyes.. her eyes seemed to glow, yet didn't... " He trailed off. " Fili! Kili! " The loud voice of their uncle loomed. " Do not fall behind! "
Earlier that day, just before sunrise,Gandalf had returned to the company's aid. Splitting a large rock in two, setting the morning star's light upon three large trolls that had caused trouble to the company, setting each to stone.
Then company soon discover the trolls' cave.
It reeked of rotting meat and waste. Mud swept over the walls as did dry blood. Remains of a fire crept everywhere. Far inside Gandalf discovers weapons of many sorts, yet two begged his attention. Thorin took the other and admired it in his strong hands. " These are elvish blades. " Said Gandalf. A scowl appeared on Thorin's face. " .. you could not wish for a finer blade. " The wizard added.
Along with weapons they found gold,of which they stashed to return for.

After many hours of travel,Legolas and Aragorn had finally step foot into Orthanc. The trees outside stood tall and firm as their leaves danced to the changing winds. " Saruman. " The ranger began. ".. can you help us find her? " The white wizard paced to and fro his cold colored chambers. " Loswen.. " The white wizard loudly murmured. " ... Gandalf has gone into dangerous ventures. " He ignored Aragorn, walking to a secluded door that the ranger had not noticed. " I... I need time. " The doors slammed shut.
The entire room felt eerie, darkened and cold. Saruman the white lingered in the room for hours. When he finally revealed himself,he looked tired and depressed. " The lost lady is nearing Rivendell. " The wizard collapsed.
The elf was quickly at his aid. " Aragorn. You must leave for Rivendell. I shall take Saruman to Lothlorien. The lady Galadriel shall heal him. " Aragorn took to his horse and rode for Rivendell. Weary and tired, yet the ranger did not falter in haste.

Loswen strayed into familiar places, but could not grasp them clearly.
Before her now stood a large cave. The smell of rot and death greated her. The lost lady did not bother to delve deeper as she saw many footprints,of which she followed without much thought.
With each step towards the company,Loswen could feel an energy pulling her closer and closer. Until she could hear a voice, two voices speaking to each other.
" .. it would look grand! I can just see it now. Deep mines of gold and diamonds. The halls with ceilings so tall you can barely see them! Oh how I wish we could see it,brother. " They sounded so hipeful,so determined. " I do,aswell,Kili. " Loswen gasped.
Before her now stood two dwarves. Fili and Kili.
Fili the light brown haired man that she had caused too much terror to,and the brother,of which she had caused even greater pains to. " The wit- " Fili's hands snapped over his brother's mouth. " It would be nice if you could put him into a light sleep... just now. " He said to Loswen. "i'm afraid i don't know how to do that. " She murmured.
Kili thrusted, wiggled and clawed until he finally hit his brother's groin, forcing his release. " Of course not! You only murder people!" He raised his bow.
" Kili! Don't! I'm telling you,she isn't the witch that almost killed me! " Kili's eyes filled with anger,his hands quaking,but Fili pleaded. " Brother,please. "
With a heavy sigh, the young dwarf lowered his weapon, but stood between Loswen and his brother. " If you harm a hair on his head,I will kill you. " Loswen nodded and sat on the grass beneath her with the brothers quickly following her lead.
" Well... I'm not sure what to say. " Loswen began. "... I guess I could start with.. ummm... I think I actually am the one that almost killed you. " Kili grabbed his bow.
" Please! no... wait. Let me explain. " The dwarf hesitantly lowered his weapon once more as Fili gave a reassuring nod. " ... it may have been me,but it wasn't really me. " They gave her an odd look. Loswen sighed and pressed on. " I don't recall doing such. Yet people say I have done a lot of things that I shouldn't be proud of. They also tell me that I am capable of so much and that I hold power... great power. Power that I do not know of. But I promise you,I mean you no harm. I only seek to free myself of evil.. if possible. "
