CHAPTER THREE(3)

     "Yes come in"Scarlet says
       "Director this is the design reference and also this file is from the sales department "
   "Ok thanks,you may leave"she says (she has being talking all this time without looking at him).
"Before I leave,would you like to have lunch with me???,my treat"
  (She finally looks up at him to see that Charming look of his, looking at his eyes she couldn't find words to respond)
"Thanks I will see you later..."Daniel says.
   "But I said nothing"she finally says.
   "I could see the answer in your eyes darling"
    "It's Director"she corrected
      "Ok director I will see you later"he says flashing another smile at her as he left.
"Gosh he is getting the best of me,I have to control myself".

     (St.Richard Hospital)
"Sir you have an appointment by 3:00pm"Beatrice says
"Wow it's lunch time"Carl says
"I will come with you doc,I haven't had my lunch yet"
     "Oh...okay"he says.

     (After a while)
"Wow the food here is delicious right?"she asked
"Hmm......"Carl replied
  "You know back in highschool I had a lot of crush but always fooled myself at the end,have you ever had a crush before???"she asked again.
   "I don't want to talk about this ok??"he replied.
   "Ok,but what about Scarlet"
"She's a close friend,and how did you know about her??"he asked
     "I heard about her from Pamela.....(Carl's phone rings)
     "Mom,how are you???"
    "I forgot to call you yesterday,how is work???!, hope everything is ok???
"Everything is ok,how is Molley???"
"She's okay that brat, where is my Angel I mean Scarlet"
"(What Angel???)She should be at work and don't worry she's fine"
"Okay I will let you work now ok???"
"Ok mom I will call you when I get home byee"He says and ends the call to see Beatrice burning with curiousty, her eyes filled with so many questions.
    "We should get back to work now".He said.

     (At the Company cafeteria)
          "Are you enjoying your meal???"Daniel asks sweetly
          "Of course I am,are you aware am your boss???"
  "Apart from you being my boss I am also aware that in you is a cute little girl who wants Love and Protection"........(that really touched her even when she knew he was flirting, but for some reason she felt his words were scincere).
    "I will be in my office now"she says standing up.
   "Are you feeling shy darling???"
         "It's Director okay...."
       "Can I just call you by your name???"he asks.
    "As you wish Daniel,I will be in my office"she said and left.

  (Scarlet got to her office and got a call from Jane)
     "How are you preparing for tomorrow???"
    "What day is it tomorrow ??"
  "It is Valentine 💖💖💖 a day of Love"
    "Oh that..., it's nothing to be so happy about, no wonder the Shopping Mall had a lot of customers today"
"Just look for a partner soon and you will understand why Valentine 💖💖💖 is such a special day"
  "My problem right now is my charming assistant,he is driving me crazy".
"Just move along with the flow, just let him know you like him already"
    "I can't just throw myself at him Jane besides he is younger one"Scarlet explained.
"As much as I can remember you are the desperate one not him, and if you don't hold on to him, I bet you those little brats in your Company will snatch him"
       "Ok Jane see you when all the Valentine 💖💖💖Madness is over byee".
  
    (She calls Carl)
"Hey Scarlet,you called me right???"Carl asked surprised
  "Of course is it not obvious"
   "I just thought it was unusal,did the earth open up and swallow you???"
   "What makes you think you will be the first person I will call if such happens?"
    "Because you only call me whenever you have a problem"
"Now that you say it,.....I think you are right,anyway do you have a date tomorrow???Not that I expect you to have one"
     "And what if I say yes"
   "I will be on top of the world"
(She says and Carl hanged up for a reason she couldn't think of).

      (Next-Day)
(Carl was home the whole day and it was already 5:45pm,he thought of going to the cinema but that wasn't a great idea suddenly his phone rings)

"Doctor Carl, would you like to have lunch?, am waiting for you outside your house 🏠, it's too boring being home all alone"
"Ok I will be join you in 7minutes".

Scarlet was  bored to death but she took her time dressing herself up, it's seems she was destined to be alone, ....but she wasn't the type to have self pity anyway,...She went out to one of the best restaurants but damn it!!!! everyone was on a date and acting so romantic,...how could she be alone today of all days?, even Carl has a date,she gently sits her self and ordered a glass of Orange juice,She suddenly had to use the rest room,but she came back to see a couple at her table this was horrifing            
        "Waiter!!!!!!!...😠😠 She called.
   "Yes Ma, how may I be of help?"
    "Why are these two on my table?"
         "I am sorry Ma,... you know today is Valentine 💖💖💖 we have alot of costumers,besides you are alone"
       "Is that an excuse?,am alone, but I paid for the reservation,....is this how you treat your client??Just because She's alone on a Valentine day?....."
     "You are not alone remember am always here for you"Scarlet heard a musculine voice say as she turns around to see who it was"
      "You???!!!!....."She exclaimed
     "Please find us a table"he says as they found a table and sat comfortably.
           "Are you stalking me???" Scarlet asked.
  "I will do anything to be by your side darling..I mean director".He corrected.
  "Just call me Scarlet".She said as they placed an order.
         "You found such a nice restaurant Scarlet,I like this place"
    "Thanks for today Daniel"
"The pleasure is mine,all I want is to see you happy"
   "Well...not bad"she said with a Smile.
