Chapter Six(6):

(Scarlet got a phone call from home uncle Chris was Sick and in the hospital, though she didn't want to go back home because of her stepmother and Paige her stepsister who always found an opportunity to make her life miserable,she still couldn't understand why they hate her so much,if her mother was still alive maybe she would have gotten a better treatment and a lively childhood,but this wasn't an excuse, Uncle Chris loves her so much and always made her happy,she had to go back home immediately).

(She left for her hometown immediately,but when she got home, Paige opens the door to see Scarlet and glared at her, Scarlet was already used to this by now,She counted the stairs up and to her bedroom,it felt so nice being home again, though she had little good memories to remember but it was comforting).

(Scarlet went downstairs and saw Leah and Paige watching TV,a plate of cookies in front of them,how could this lowlifes sit to enjoy a movie while Uncle Chris was in the Hospital).
"Which hospital was Uncle Chris admitted???"She asked and she could hear her voice echo,this was horrible,she got no reply from them,She couldn't stand there anymore,She went to Aunt Bella's house and found only Molley home.
"Where is Aunt???"She asked
"I missed you so much Scarlet did Carl come with you???" Molley asked.
"Of course not,I didn't tell your brother I was coming back home,I got a call from Paige that Uncle was sick,do you know which Hospital he was admitted???"
"Of course mom is with your Uncle at the hospital,she left very early to see him,I will take you to him"Molley said and they soon got to the Hospital.

(Scarlet remembers how often she had visited the hospital while she was young,she saw Uncle Chris laying Unconscious on the hospital bed,She felt worried and wished she was the one on that bed, Uncle Chris was her hero and friend, suddenly she felt hot tears roll down her cheeks,She seemed to be sharing alot of tears recently).

(She sat beside him, and watched him, Suddenly he gently opens his eyes)
"Princess???, when did you come?"he asked trying to sit up.
"Don't just relax,I heard you were sick,I had to come see you hero,hero don't fall sick you know? please don't be sick".she says in tears.
"I hate it when you cry princess,hope Leah didn't do anything???"
"She didn't get the chance Hero,you still care for me even you are sick"
"I will always care for you princess,have you eaten???"
"I will eat later,you health first,you have to relax, don't worry about me"
"You shouldn't worry about me either,why did you come all the way here because of a minor illness,you should go back now and face your work,so that when I finally Join my Father in heaven,you will be independent"
"Am not dependent Hero,am only dependent when am with you"She smiled.
"What about Carl???"
"C-a-rl,Carl???,a little bit am not him when am dependent....oh my gosh what am her saying???".
"You don't have to pretend in front of me princess,you both are too close, even some married couples are not as Close".
"That's correct,but we are not Couples we are Just friends"
"Come in Son-in-law"Uncle Chris says to Carl who was standing at the door.
"You came too?"Chris asked
"Molley told me you were in, and Scarlet was here with you,I had to come"
"Did you come because of me or Scarlet???"
"Where is Molley and aunt??"Scarlet asked nervously before Carl could answer the question.
"They went back home"Carl answered.
"Oh I didn't get a chance to see Aunt,I miss he already"
"Rest well hero I will come back"Scarlet says.
"You don't have to come back princess,you should spend enough together"
"I am leaving hero,relax yourself okay???"Scarlet said and left with Carl.

"Will you go back to the city tonight???"Carl asked.
"I can't take a flight back this evening, besides I still have to see my hero before I leave".
"What about Leah and Paige???"
"Am going back home,I will just Lodge in one of the 🏨 Hotels for the night???".
"Should I come with you???"Carl asked.
"What about aunt and Molley???"
"They always disturb me about getting married and all that's why I never came to visit them before"
"But you came because of me today right???"
"I had to,what are friends for???".
"You can come with,do you know of any bar,where I can get whisky or any alcohol?,I feel like getting drunk"She said but got no reply,Carl was staring at her passionately suddenly she started hiccuping nervously,and this knocked Carl out his dream world.
"There is a bottle of water in your hands Scarlet"
"Hmm..mmm...?!!!!"
"Drink the water in your hands"Carl had to spell it out for her.
She drank from the water,she was trembling,She really was confused what the hell was are body reacting to???.
"Oh we should go to the whisky to buy the bar... gosh 😡😡I keep on mixing my words"she says
"Why are your cheeks so red???"Carl smirked.
"Are they...oh I think am cold,give me your coat"she says
"Here you go"Carl says giving it to her.

(They bought the alchohol and made way for the hotel Carl, drove the car 🚗 today, Scarlet was melting in silence,she regrets asking for his coat,she felt so warm,the fragrance of his perfume gave her this overwhelming feeling that made goose bums pop out her skin,she felt so awkward in his coat she prayed silently that they got to the hotel soon enough,Carl wasn't someone she should be feeling this way about,he was just a friend and an introvert......)
"We are here"Carl says as they got out of the car, Scarlet returned the coat immediately they got out of the car but that didn't stop her heart from beating faster than it should.

They lodged into the 🏨 Hotel.
"I am not in complete support of alcohol"
"Just forget you are a doctor today Carl,for my sake"
"Ok cheers"they both said,they turned on the TV to watch a movie.
