Chapter Seven (7)

"I simply hate Love movies, please change the channel"Carl says.

"This movie is really interesting, besides,I should be the one to hate love 💗 movies not you,you have not even encountered one heartbreak,I envy you Carl".

"You won't understand Scarlet,the pain I bear in my heart everyday is worse than a heart break"

"What pain?,stop talking now you are just drunk"

"The pain of seeing you with someone else,I have never had the courage to tell you how much I love💖 💖 you Scarlet,it pains to see you don't even notice me,you just want us to be friends"

"I don't notice you? you speak of pain?,I get confused everyday, wondering if we are still friends or not,you are not my type but my heart doesn't want to understand that,and you keep on being so kind and adorable it's hard to avoid these feelings"

"Then why don't you just stop avoiding it and accept that you Love 💖 me Scarlet???"

"I don't know Carl,you can't understand, it's difficult for me to explain I can't.....(Suddenly,she stood up to have a glass of water,Carl noticed her hand was trembling,he walked up to her, standing behind her just two inch away from her).

"Are you okay?"he whispers into her right ear in warm breath.

"Am fine"she snapped moving away from him.

"But you are not,just calm down,take a deep breath"

"We had too much to drink,I made a mistake"Scarlet says,Carl drew a deep breath,then Scarlet realized he wasn't as calm as he was pretending to be,there was complete silence,Carl didn't stop staring at her with yearnings in his eyes,she glanced at him and caught his eyes,she could feel her heart racing,the tension increased continuously as their eyes discussed and had said the unsaid.

Carl reached out and pulled her against him in a Sudden Savage movement,as he gently caressed her hair, Scarlet was lost in passion,in this burning fire,his hand went from her shoulder down to her waist,his other hand on her hair.

Without further warning his lips plundered hers in a passionate kiss,their yearnings taking the best of them,it was as if their entire world has stopped at this moment and there was nothing to be scared or worried about,the love inside of them that has being caged for such a long time found it's wings and they both arm in arm helplessly became submissive to this passion, Suddenly as if they got a wake up call pushed themselves away from each other.

Scarlet ran into the bathroom and splash water on her face, slapping herself,she couldn't believe she gave in like that,how could she be so stupid,she was yearning for more,it was as if all the hormones in her body was activated but damn enough is enough,Carl was not the dream guy she wished for but her friend,she will just stay away from him for now or else things might get out of hands.

Carl felt embarrassed,and felt bad about his actions,he was better off a secret admirer,but he was happy deep inside,at least he will have no regrets in the future,he even had his first kiss with her,he will never forget this day, though he was scared,he didn't want anything to happen to their friendship,that was the only excuse to be beside her all the time,but how should he face her after this???.

   (THE NEXT DAY 7:03am):

  Scarlet got to the hospital to see her Hero fast asleep,she went in gently closing the door behind her quietly,she sat beside him and someone suddenly flung the door open.

"My Angel, that brat (Molley)told me you were in town,I missed you".She said giving her a hug.

"How have you being aunt?,I really missed you".

"Don't worry about me am fine,....where is that stupid son of mine???"

"Didn't you see him at home before you left?"

"No I didn't,he wasn't home last night either"

"Then call Molley and ask her"(Aunt Bella called Molley)

"Hey Molley,is Carl home with you???.

"Yes Mom he came a few minutes after you left"

     "Give the phone to him"She said.

   "Mom,how is Uncle Chris?"Carl asked from the other side.

   "He is fine didn't you see him yesterday,and by the way are you avoiding me?,why didn't you come home yesterday?".

  "I was with Scarlet yesterday,I just got home"

  "You better leave before I get back and leave some money for me, don't give it to that brat".

  "Are you driving me away from home?"

    "What should I do?,since you don't want to come home anymore,just don't forget to keep some money for me,I love you dear".

   "Okay I will leave,I will keep some money in your cupboard,love you Mom"he said hanging up.

    "I can't believe this brat is my son he is so adorable and mature"Aunt says to Scarlet who has being listening quietly to her conversation with Carl...she is amazed by the love between mother and son.

"Hmm....mmm"She smiled but that's the kind of smile I call fake.

    "Princess?... you are here so early"Uncle Chris says.

  "Hero you are awake,do you want anything,you should have breakfast....."

   "You don't have to worry about that my Angel,I will take care of him,you should go back to work now".

   "She's right princess,by the way where did you sleep last night?,hope Leah didn't cause any trouble?.

  "No hero,I passed the night at a hotel".She replied remembering what happened last night she didn't sleep the whole night,she was waiting for it to be morning,if not she wouldn't be here so early,she wasn't an early riser.

  "That's okay, I will soon be discharged,so don't worry, you should go back to the city okay???.

   "Okay Hero,but if there is any problem do well to call me"She placed a kiss on his forehead and he did the same.
