Chapter Four(4)

    "I had alot of fun doctor Carl, this is amazing"
    "Am tired now I would love to go home now"Carl says
   "But the day is young, it's just 7:00pm, common let's go watch a movie"Beatrice says.
   "A movie??? don't you get tired???"
   "I can't get tired when am with you,Would you have refused if it was Scarlet???"
  "Stop talking about her like that we are just friends,...alright let's go watch a movie"
"Yay!!!!!this is gonna be my best day ever"Beatrice says excited.

Scarlet couldn't believe how much fun she had today, Daniel is such a darling She felt like giving him a huge hug and alot of kisses😘😘😘, Suddenly he held her palm and gave her a loving💕 gaze.
   "What are you trying to do??"
     "Don't you get it,I love you Scarlet,I might be younger than you are,but I can't hid my feelings for long, please be my girlfriend".
  "You are so adorable Daniel,you are irresistible"she replied
    "Is that a yes???..."
    "Of course....."

Carl was so happy when the movie ended,it was already 9:30pm,he hasn't seen Scarlet the
Whole day.
   "Thank you for today doc,I had alot of fun, it's so amazing spending time with you".
     "Hope you can get home by yourself?"
   "Of course I can am not a child doc,see you at work tomorrow".
        "Byee....."Carl says.
       "I will call you when I get home".she said and finally left.

Carl went to Scarlet's home,she wasn't home,well that gave Carl quiet a shock,he thought she had no date and was home alone,he always imagine her as helpless but in reality she wasn't, actually he was the helpless one, Suddenly someone flung the door open.
     "Back from your date???"
"I feel on top of the world today Carl,I feel so loved and fulfilled,I finally have a boyfriend,by the way where have you been,you had a date right??"
       "I just had lunch with a colleague"
       "Hmm...a colleague Hun....(Carl's phone rings).
   "Doctor Carl am home already,I promised to call you when I get home,di...(Scarlet takes the phone from Carl)."
      "You are Carl's girl right?"
    "You can say that, my name is Beatrice,you are Scarlet right?"
     "Of course,how about lunch tomorrow you,Carl and I"
    "Amazing,I will be there, please give the phone to Carl"
   "Okay then"..........(Carl finally ends the call).
     "Hmm,I wonder how you got yourself a girlfriend"
     "You shouldn't have done that Scarlet, I really do not want to have such relationships"
    "Oh my goodness Carl,did you cook something???"
      "There is food in the heater"
     "What will I do without you Carl?"
       "When was the last time you cleaned this house?"
         "Last week???,a month ago???,yeah a month ago,why did you ask?"
      "Just eat your food Scarlet".
   "I really miss the old times, Can you still remember Mark???"
    "Your high school crush of course".He said sitting himself on a chair beside Scarlet.
     "You have a good memory, thinking of it,I would be married now if I had the courage to confess my feelings for him then but I was such a fool"
   "You are not a fool Scarlet,you are such an Angel,Just that you talk a bit too much sometimes"😋😋😋.
"When was the last time I gave you a good beating???!!!"
"Ahh!!!💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃"Carl screams running and jumping from couch to couch(you can imagine how childlike that was😃😄😃😄😅).

         (The Next Day)
 "Good morning beauty"Daniel greeted.                                          "Oh nice to see you,hmm did you give the files to Mrs.Bridget???"
     "Yes I did and she gave us a go ahead"
      "Nice, tomorrow I will have to go on a business trip to Canada"
      "Oh about that, I bought our tickets yesterday and I made reservations at one of the best hotels"
      "Yeah but......."
    "Can we stop talking about business now???"
    "Oh am sorry can't help it"
    .    "Lunch???"
     "Hmm....I already promised to have lunch with someone today,how about dinner???"
      "Okay then see you later"

       "Wow I can't wait to see Scarlet"Beatrice says.
       "Hi Carl,.....oh you must be Beatrice,you gorgeous"
     "Thanks and so are you"
     They made their order.
     "When did your love story begin???"Scarlet askd all of a Sudden.
     "I fell for him the day he saved me from doctor James"She says gently resting her head on Carl's Shoulder.
     "Excuse me I have to use the restroom".She said and left immediately,when she got to the restroom She splash water on her face hoping that will calm her.
   "What's wrong with me???!!!am supposed to be happy that Carl has a girlfriend now, Scarlet calm down don't be Jealous it's not as if you have any romantic feelings towards him anyway,besides Carl still sees you as his best friend"She told herself,she soon joins them and they had their meals silently.
   
(Scarlet got home and called Jane).
      "Hope the Valentine 💖💖💖 madness is over now???"
    "Of course not,so what's the update"Jane asks
         "Nothing much just that my love life is out of danger"
    "Ha ha ha, don't make it sound that way.... I heard Carl has a girlfriend"
    "Yeah he acts like a saint but he is not, didn't you say he pities me well now you know you are wrong"
    "Did you meet his girlfriend,is she pretty???"
    "She is very pretty, but too clingy ,I don't like her,I wonder what Carl sees in her"
     "Do you really not like her or do you hate the fact that Carl has a girlfriend that is not you???"
     "😃😄😅Ha ha ha!!!you make me laugh you and I know how impossible that is"

    "Ok,I would love to have my beauty sleep I have a trip tomorrow"
    "Good night call me me when you get to Canada"
   "Ok then I will hang up now,say Hi to my godson"Scarlet says ending the call.
