"Wren? Wren!" Jasper called, looking for his friend who apparently wasn't anywhere to be found.
"Here!" Wren hollered from the second floor of the dropship. She was listening to music again, but kept it on a low volume so she didn't wake anyone.
Jasper appeared up the ladder.
"Octavia's missing." Jasper breathed heavily, moving over to her.
"Great, another person dead because of me." Wren sighed, closing her eyes and rubbing them.
"Wren, what is wrong with you?" Jasper demanded, shocked at her words. "She's still alive, she's gotta be."
"Why are you so sure? Huh? You know what, maybe she's lucky. She doesn't have to deal with the burden of being a human anymore." Wren realized.
"What?" Jasper questioned, growing worried for the girl.
"Yeah. I mean, think about it. Some things in life are to much for people to handle, or in my case many little things. They take a toll, wither you away until you turn to a bottle or a plant, or a gun." Wren said darkly.
"Wren are you fucking high?" Jasper demanded, suddenly clicking it together.
"What if I am? Huh? Everyone always judges me. I'm just trying to make it feel better, i'm not even harming anyone, if anything it's harm me. If i'd never gotten hi—." Wren was cut off by a bucket of cold water Jasper doused her in.
"Get your ass up. You always were high at the least convenient times. Come on, we're saving Octavia." Jasper said, grabbing a soaked Wren and pulling her to his feet.
"What—Oh, my god, Wren! Where is your bra?!" Jasper demanded, averting his eyes as her thin white tanktop combo with the cold water mixed together.
"In Bellamy's tent." Wren shrugged.
"Ew." Jasper shuddered as he tried not to think to hard about how it got there.
Instead he grabbed the uniform she kept wrapped around her waist and pull her arms into it before zipping her up.
"You know maybe if you hadn't dowsed me in water—."
"Not the time, Wren." Jasper grumbled, grabbing her hand and pulling her with him.
Jasper pulled Wren over to the weapons station and grabbed a spear, but made sure Wren didn't take anything. He didn't trust her when she was high and in a bad mood.
"Hey, Jasper, you don't have to do this. You haven't left camp since we brought you back." Clarke stopped him.
"Clarke, I need to do this." Jasper reassured him. Bellamy walked over.
"We need all the people we can get." Bellamy nodded, happy to see Jasper.
"Great, well, here's Wren, she's high so I need you to babysit her." Jasper nodded, pushed Wren towards him.
Wren's eyes widened awkwardly.
"Jasper, stop." She pushed his hands away.
"What?" Jasper questioned, confused.
"We're over." Wren hissed lowly, but since she was high she only thought she kept her voice low. In actuality, it was in a regular speaking tone.
"You need to stop being self-destructive and move on. You fucked up, okay? Is that what you need to hear? And, Wren, you're gonna fuck up again, and again, and again until the day you die." Jasper took her by the shoulders and spoke sternly, making sure she heard every word.
Wren's eyes suddenly water and she looked down.
"Like when I got Noah floated?" Wren whispered. Noah had been their friend too.
