It's been one whole month the king walked out on her,it did seems goodbye the last time
she was appointed two maidens and two guards to look after her and all her needs but she've been meeting the king on accident sometimes but apart from how are you,he just ignores her altogether even sometimes he just changes his way when he sees her, although he insists she should call him Alexander or Xander
She is broken hearted but never shows it outside,the past months she have known the king,she had no choice but fall for him but she is not going to say it out loud as he is far from her reach and league
'maybe it's for the best'she thought sadly and brokenly given up on him but with a little hope that it will get better
' maybe he had given up on me' she thought sadly and entered her room to sleep never knowing how the next day was going to shatter her
Her maids helped her undress and dimmed off the lights...but they could see that both her and the king are hurting but she had lost her light and weight and keeps turning up in bed for the past weeks
The next day came very quickly as it couldn't wait to share the news and the rising of a new era.
Ella woke up and her maids helped her washed up and choose her dress to wear to the royal breakfast as her maid told her she was requested to dine with the king this morning but she was nervous as he never requested her to eat at the royal dinning hall but had always allowed her to eat in her room every time and any time she wished
" This way miss,we don't want to be late or keep His Majesty waiting" one of the maid reasoned and led the way to the dinning hall in a hurry as everyone knew his patience was very thin especially since the misunderstanding with his girl
the guards immediately opened the gates for her when they saw her but she was met with an empty room making her face to fall with disappointment as she had wanted to look at him even if it's ten seconds
a second later the gates opened to reveal the king in his royal robes, he sat down and pointed to a chair on his right making her sit down when seconds later his right hand entered and also sat down
Seven maidens entered carrying foods to be served,soon enough they were eating with some deadly silence which heated the room of it's tension
Ella couldn't help but steal glances at the king but he just ignores her and keep on eating when he spoke directly to his right hand man
" How was the task Matthew" the king asked after some time making Matthew raise his head in acknowledgment to the king question
" Your Majesty,the ball will be tomorrow and the order was sent and proclaimed in a week ago" he replied making the king nod and Ella confused and lost but she didn't dare look at the king in fear of him seeing her eyes which were showing hurt
Mattew is a handsome man,tall with a lean body but with the right muscle,blue eyes with bushy eyebrows,slim nose and full pink lips,he didnt look older than two and half decades,he have a jet black hair which flows to his shoulders while the king had also a jet black hair but when light reflects you may mistake it for silver with eyes of deep shade of bluish green but it's soo light you may even mistake for an ocean or water
" There is a ball being held tommorow in the palace,I have sent your clothes and accessories to your room" the king finally spoke to Ella making her nod but never raised her head and as the king looked at her,he found out she hadn't touched her food making him groan internally but it was the best
" I have decided to choose my queen tommorow,so the ball is to find her,that was what you suggested right" he taunted making she nod grimly looking down at her food with tears threatening to fall,she has lost the ability to even eat now and her face drain of all colors,she didn't know why it hurt so much when she had requested it in the first place
She will heal,when he married she will request to leave to a far off country where she will start a trade in sewing of clothes
The king sat there looking at her and shaked his head,he sent her the dinner request to see how she felt about him but now he did confirm it,he will definitely choose his queen tommorow at the ball and she will need to be there as it is a royal decree
' Ella how do you do it ' he thought sadly and stood up and walked away making Mattew follow him fast on his tail as he was hurting so bad making him feel angry
Ella raised her head when she noticed she was alone and finally made her tears fall as she has definitely lost her king,she wiped away her tears and left to the garden,the one he himself graced her with and recalls all the time she was here with the king
' I have definitely lost you,the only one I had in this world but I will carry you in my heart,my king ' she thought sadly but some where in the palace some one watches her and smirk which later turns to a full blown laughter
Ella goes into her room but couldn't eat,she heard from her maidens that the king has disperse his harem and compensated them and their families and had married off the willing ones who sought marriage to some of his soldiers who also desired them,others felt honoured to share the woman the king had also bedded
she just lay on the bed and cries herself in to a restless sleep waiting for tommorow but wish she could rewind the time and enjoy every chance she had graciously wasted with the king
