The king on his way back after whole five months,two weeks and two days from leaving his wife was umbushed by his enemies who had joined forces with the stupid people who had the nerves to attack his people.

He was enraged as he had fought with more than twenty one thousand soldiers and thought the rest now understood him and wouldn't dare attack but he was very much wrong

The king being attacked meant another war has broke loose and thanks to little casualty of loosing two thousand soldiers,he was good to good to fight them and rise out victorious

He already spending five whole month and three weeks without her made him very bitter and angry making his moves and strategies powerful,now he had to fight for more but he will surely win as he had always been king of strategy

' wait up my queen,I have sweated to keep you safe and I can't ignore this war or else they will come to our kingdom and people will die and I swore to always keep you away from harm's way and that I will rather lose my life than watch that happens,my life is meaningless without you and for the first time I saw you,I knew there and then I was all yours,just hang on and I will do all I can to keep you safe and I swear on my life' he wished sadly but with a true heart

When Ella heard of the king caught in a middle of a war she knew there had to be a change of plan so they met and planned everything as her condition is now critical and any little thing can kill her or the child she carries and it's left with three months and she will deliver and can't risk any of their life.

Atenna had now seize part of the kingdom and still grow proud every day and knew the queen have to die for her plan to work and she is willing to sacrifice anything for the crown which consists of the king,power and a kingdom,the crowned queen had been sick for six months now and her belly is big but maybe it's because of the poison,she thought sadly and amusing at the now disfigured queen,

'she will die tonight' she though evilly and got to work as she had to plan how to get rid of her majesty the queen,she called her servants who was all part of eliminating Ella,long live the queen,she thought sinisterly and got to work

Ella knew this was her only hope as she weighed her opportunities but chose the latter one as she looked at the food suspiciously but she trusted this maiden who had swored her loyalty to her

she drank the medicine and ate but into the bread as she slowly ate the  food given silent appreciation to the maiden and slept for a better tommorow

Criers echoes in the palace in the morning,as maidens roam about with the palace turned upside down as it was in chaos

The queen was dead,she drank a poisonous medicine and now she wakes no more,her maiden woked up and shakes her majesty as she was sleeping in a weird position but she was motionless

She rushed and sprinkle her with water and sent for the doctor who rushed to the palace after washing the queen feet,and pushing her vital points,it was the unthinkable,she was truly gone,her heart had stopped in the middle of the night making the doctor look on at the queen who earned her love,respect and loyalty but soon enough the announcement was made

Atenna wakes and cheers at the news but plays safe as she starts to tears up softly for the lost queen though everyone knew their relation but other blames it on the Queen's insecurities as she fears Atenna will have her man but others despises her but she decided to wait for the elders meeting,for them to decide before she moves on to her next plan

The Royal Meeting is held in the palace as they think of how to bury their queen but others objected to burying her as they knew the king had the right to bury her queen and grieve too so they have to preserve the body until the king returns,the majority agreed making it the final decision

The preparation was made by the elders to embalm the body but grieve their queen until their king arrives,no one objected the idea so it was agreed and the queen was embalmed immediately and kept in the mighty room where lost royals were treated

It's been two weeks since the people have been grieving their queen and Atenna couldn't be more than happy as she had finally gotten rid of her but one obstacle remains,the people's had always trusted the late queen and her king so they will object to her being queen but they have to crown her in any way possible before the king comes and that's all its left but it wasn't easy as she estimated

Most is still fond of the late queen and most also thought they are betraying their king but she didn't come this long and dangerous way to lose so she had to fight through

Atenna walked around the town sharing the people grief and comfort,making some very angry as they lost a queen and there is no need for someone to step in to replace her,others was happy that at least they had someone to comfort them while their queen is no more

Atenna shared riches and clothes among her followers and those who were willing to take but since their queen was crowned she had been looking after them and even giving them some essential needs and to the poor,she had personally cared for them and gave them work by giving them a large land to cultivate and give thirty to the royal treasury and also fend for themselves with the rest and they knew no one can't replace their queen,maybe not yet

"God bless our queen to be"one of Atenna followers shouted in the crowd as they were paid to do so but the people became furious and others joined in the proclamation but soon enough they were chased out by the mourning people with axes and cutlasses

What happens now that our queen is dead and all is lost what will happen with Atenna and what will happen to our king, Alexander
