It's been ten weeks since the queen passed away and one can say life has gone back to normal but it couldn't and wouldn't as the kind queen was gone and the king is yet to return pushing them all were on edge as they had no clue on what to do and what to expect
Atenna has began her plan and want to be made queen but only the king holds the power to the crown and only he can make one and without him and his decree its invalid and again since their queen wasn't buried no one could yet occupy the throne as she is still the queen,late but nevertheless
The elders sat down in the throne room to plan on how to maintain the kingdom as the queen was no more and she holds the power after the king but now it resides on the third in command as the second in command went with the king and there was no news from the king all they know is the king is in a middle of a fatal war that demands all his attention or else the kingdom may perish
Atenna enters the meeting in a royal red fitting mermaid gown which hugs her figure with her brown hair cascading down her back in waves with an amazing make up looking very beautiful. She sashays her hips with head held high holding an envelope with the royal stump on it looking proud but beautiful
"You are not invited to this meeting Princess Atenna,so why are you here"the third in command, Derrick asks harshly looking her up and down,sizing her up but she just flipped her hair and stood taller and addressed them
" Sorry to interrupt your highnesses but I think I deserve a little respect considering me to be a princess and all and also the kings royal mistress and second wife and now with the queen departure I can fill it out,don't you think" she asks sarcastically sizing them all up but none looked intimidated but it just seems they didn't care
" Only the king have a say,so go back to your room and have your beauty rest as you can see we are in a meeting" the fifth in command spat sarcastically making Atenna to look smug but chuckle slightly
"No no no,that's where you are wrong,I may be a no one but am a princess and even the king knows but one can't help but make use of the available resources,don't you think?you see this is the royal letter from the king and he expects his wishes to be done and respected all else,you know it already so no need to say it loud" she said looking at her interesting nails and handed Derrick the third in command the letter who raised a brow in questioning but she shrugged carelessly in arrogance
Atenna should be made a temporarily queen in my absence as I heard my queen is no more I shall come to grieve but no this is a war I can't ignore, it shall take sometime but the kingdom deserve to have a king or queen to rule the kingdom but I will be there to make it official,the people deserve this more than my love to the late queen

And this letter had the king's royal symbol and stamp making it un refusable and there was nothing anyone could do as refusing the king order is punishable by death and with your family stripped of their title and no one was was ready for the punishment so they had to agree but even Derrick could see that it makes no sense but again it may be because of the war,he had become disoriented or maybe it's the loss of the queen,he sighed dejectedly
" That's says the king,prepare to have a new ruler but a temporal queen until the king arrives" he said and bow to her and left the room as others also followed suit and filed out to prepare for the coronation of the fake queen
People filed in to the palace to witness the coronation of their temporal queen,many were dressed elegantly and others seems not to care as they never had accepted her as one and her people looked on with glee with proudness of being on the winning team
Atenna dressed elegantly in a purple and gold long fitting mermaid gown with gold accessories and a gold heels with hair held high in a bun with an amazing make up,she entered majestically with held high as she walks to the throne and is helped to sit by an elder who will crown her
"Do you Atenna promise to stay loyal to this kingdom, protect, love and cherish this kingdom, stand by us always and looked at our welfare in your best interest,be the mother to this kingdom,always put it's need above your own" Atenna was asked by the priest as all looked at her waiting for her response
" I do" she said confidently looking straight at the people
" By the power invested in me I pronounce you queen of Navaeh... until the king says otherwise" the priest said as he placed the crown on her head as she smiled victoriously making other jump in joy but some people knew it was their doom
