"Princess Eve Peron of Alstavia"the king spoke as everyone looked up expectingly
The maidens at the ball was suddenly by her side escorting her to the king,she curtised and the king only nodded,he stood up and went near her
A maiden brought up a tray filled with the flowers with the chosen queen crystal crown,the king took the white flower and placed it in her hair
" To the most charming woman of the ball" the people cheered and clapped but the Princess Eve was angry and disappointed but she blanked her face and placed on a smile and hoped to be given a second one as one could but hope
" And presenting of second flower" the eunuch again spoke making every maiden curious and hoping again
" Lady Ella White" the king spoke yet again making some groan in not being them and Ella startled and suprised as she didn't think she will be called as she had just given up all of her dreams
She rose and the maids joined her in a second escorting her to the king,she curtised before the king making him nod,he stood up and stood in front of him,the maids presented the tray yet again,he picked the red 🌹 rose and placed it in her hair
" To the most beautiful girl at this ball" he said making her blush and the people clapping and cheering
She stood up and turned to go but the king held her hand and shook his head making her confused,he picked up the last flower making the people gasp,she understood immediately
" To the queen of my heart and to the chosen queen" he said and reached for the crown and set it on her head,he held his hand to her and she shakenly took hold of his hand as he guided her to the Queens chair but he did noticed her teary, suprised and relief eyes making him smile in contentment
The people cheered for their king and new queen
" Long live our King" they hooted

They cheered making Ella smile,the king rose his hands and they quietened down
" The Ceremony would be in three days time and the celebration starts from today to a week from now" making the people cheer happily
" Let the celebration begin" he spoke as the music started with foods flooding in
" Why" Ella spoke making the king to turn and look at her,he rose his brow pretending not have heard what she was saying
" Why me" she asked again looking at him,he sighed softly and looked into her eyes
" I made a promise to you and my self that I will make you my queen and as a king a promise broken is unacceptable and my word is law besides I wished for it all" he spoke making her heart to beat faster,she looked away from his intense gaze and smiled,a genuine smile and she watched as people made their way to congratulate them
" It s seems you are tired little one,come let's get you bed" the king said after some time as he realized how late it was and how tired she was now looking although she hides it behind her smiles, she smiles and takes his hands as she stands but glance at the crowd worriedly
" The people can take care of themselves my queen,they wouldn't even miss as gone " he teased but she held on to his hands as he led them to his chambers
" Where did you sleep all this time yo...Xander" she asked when they entered their chambers
" I have a room in my study and I thought you wouldn't miss me" he said looking at her intensely making her blush which he smiled hugging her
" Am sorry for placing this kingdom responsibility on your shoulders but I believe in you,you have the knowledge of a queen and I have the strength so it works for me" he said looking at her with proudness making her smile
" Thank you for the honour mine king" she said making him smile and he threw his head back and laugh contagiously
" Am I, little one,I like the sound of that,you are now staking your claim on me" he said making her blush
" Is time for your sleep as you have a whole wedding to be at in two days time" he said pulling her to bed and held her tightly in his arms and peck her lips
"Go and change my queen" he said and helped her with the zip of the gown and helped her in to a night silky dress and she also helped him undress,they cuddled up as they've done a hundred of times and both slip into a beautiful sleep filled with happy days to come
