The king took Ella out of the garden into his chambers,she was still crying silently in his arms and for once he could say his heart ache for the girl he held,he placed her on the bed gently running his hands in her hair
" Your highness,I am indeed not worthy of your attention and affection, forgive this lowly servant I will leave immediately" she said sobbing as she was afraid that the king may indeed hurt or punish her and so couldn't look up to see the hurt in the king's face as he would never hurt her in any bad way as he was even afraid that a tiny mistake can break her,this is the first time he had shown much emotions but isn't afraid to show her
" Look at me Ella" he requested making her look up imediatelly as it was the first time he had said her name instead of calling her little one making her panic as she was about to be sent out
The king's face softened when he saw panic and pain in her eyes " They say I am a monster,I do not care about anyone,I was kidnapped at seven, tortured and starved for weeks and when they wanted to kill me I managed to kill four and escaped but my family was ripped away from me at the age of ten as they were betrayed by their own people who worked with his enemies and fed them poison,at eleven years I started invincibility training,I became faster,agiled, stronger, smarter but cruel, ruthless and no one touches me without permission as there was no reason to live and my family who could talk me out was dead,I revenged my parents and sister,I killed brutally with no regret, conquered nation's and that made people fear me and called me the beast or the devil but with you is different you can ask me of any thing,touch me,you were doomed when you touched and showed me kindness without even knowing me in the forest,I swore then to protect you as my own,I am a beast but would never hurt you and I hope one day you will know your worth" he said calmly but intensely making Ella suprised as how he opened up to her,her who is a nobody while the king,king of her kingdom where she had been maltreated but is now consoling her and even had opened up to her
" And from now on you will only call me Alexander" he said making Ella's mouth ajar, no one had said the king's name and survived and no one even knew until recently even not all still know,yet here she is
" please I am no royal, I have no royal blood,how can I call you that and how can I still be here" she argued
"I will make you one" he said calmly ignoring her protest and making her to sigh
" The people will to turn against you" she argued again making him scoff
" I will see them try, little one am not called a beast for nothing,and no one can talk against me how much more face and rise against me" he scoffed again arrogantly with a smirk challenging her
" Am no queen or royal material" she exclaimed faustratingly making the king smile at her cute behaviour
' the king can't marry me,I don't want him to suffer' she thought forgetting that the man himself is like a god no one dare go against
" I will make you and my word is the law " he stated
" Your majesty,you need a strong, beautiful, confident,smart and intelligent girl" she stated
" You are" he stated looking at her intensely with a proud smirk
" Your highness, you need a girl who you can love you and she can also love your people and stand proudly by your side,who will not cower under gaze" she reasoned making the king stiffen beside her
" So you can't love me ...right?" The king asked calmly and hurtfully but blocked all his emotions making his face blank making one think it was imagined

" No it's not like ..." She was cut mid sentence with a kiss from the king, a passionate one but before it could go further the king broke the kiss and looked at her and walked out of the room and never looked back and never returned the whole night something in the back of her mind told her to follow and go after him but she had faith he will return as he does every night but forgot that our king is unpredictable
It's not the first time the king had kissed her but something was different,from all their kisses it end with warmth but this one was cold it was like .....AGoodbye
