Getting the Band Back Together

Chapter 6 (Harry's POV) Life Seems Pretty Good Right Now

(Harry's POV)

I haven't seen Liam and Zayn in a long time. It was good to see them again. Both of them went back to college after the band's break up. Liam was now a music engineer and Zayn works in an acting studio and does commercials here and there. Now Liam lives in London working for Simon in his studios and Zayn lives in Bradford but travels around for acting jobs and things like that.

H-"So why are you guys here again?" I was still confused on what rumors had been started and why the boys believed them.

Li-"Me and Zayn have been talking for a while now and when we found out that you, Lou, and Niall were in town, we thought it would be the perfect time to tell you our plan. I guess the press came because they found out that we were all together again, or at least that we're all going to be together. Where are those two?"

H-"I called them. They're on they're way. They have the girls with them so it may be taking a little longer."

Z-"What girls?"

H-"Oh, Mary's friends Brandi and Lauren. The boys took them out for lunch.

Li-"Why didn't you and Mary go?"

H-"We did, but Mary hit her head on a pole that she ran into and felt dizzy so I brought her back." Mary was in the restroom right now. I felt bad about all the cameras on her. She probably wasn't used to it all and she didn't seem like the most confident girl. I don't know why she's not confident though. She's so pretty and sweet.

M-"Um, hi. I'm back"

H-"Just in time, there are the others coming through the door." We all looked over to see Louis and Lauren hand in hand shoving through the crowd and Niall was holding Brandi's hand and blocking her face from the cameras with the jacket. He defiantely liked her.

Lou-"Hey, sorry we took so long. We weren't expecting this. What did you need to show u-?" Just then Louis looked over and saw Liam and Zayn.

Lou-"OMG!" He screemed at the top of his lungs and ran at them with open arms knocking them down in the middle of the lobby. Still same old, crazy LouBear.

Li-"Its great to see you too Lou! But can you please get off of me?" Liam said while struggling to breathe. They all got up and said hi to Niall and had a reunion real quick. 

Lou-"Ya sorry."

L-"*Ehem*" Lauren cleared her throat from behind signaling Lou to introduce Brandi and her to the boys.

Lou-"Oh ya, Liam, Zayn. Meet Brandi(pointing to Brandi) and Lauren (pointing to Lauren). Im guessing you already met Harry's girlfriend over there." My face turned hot and I smirked and looked at her. I was surprised to see that she was blushing and looking down at her feet.

Li-"Ya, we met Mary. But Harry didn't say she was his girlfriend?"

M-"We're not actually dating. Lou is just being a nun tucker." she said quickly. I guess she wanted to make that clear.

Z-"A nun tucker?"

M-"yes, Lauren and I made it up a long time ago. Its an inside thing, but Lou was being one so I called him that."

Lou-"I am not a nun tucker! Am I a nun tucker, Lauren?" he turned toward Lauren with a smirk on his face.

L-"yes babe, sorry" Lou's smirk faded and he glared at us all. We all laughed at his facial expression.

N-"So what are you guys doing here again?" Niall managed to get out between laughs.

Li-"Simon sent us. Something about getting the band back together. You tweeted about it Niall.

N-"No I didn't.

Li-"ya you did. See?" Liam pulled out his phone and showed us Niall's page on twitter. We all had secret twitters that were for personal use, but people like Simon followed so we could keep in touch. The tweet read- <Hanging with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan. Yeah buddy getting the band back together!

B-"I tweeted that when I borrowed Niall's phone this morning. Oh....... I must have forgotten to log out of his account.

Z-"Now fans all over the world think were getting back together and are going crazy...as you can see" he said pointing toward the from entrance to all the screaming fans.

Li-"So Simon sent us to see if it was true. Do you guys wanna get back together? Zayn and I have talked and we wouldn't mind it. It'd be a lot of work, but I think we could do it.

I stared at them in aw. That's all I've wanted since the split. I wanted to travel the world with my best friends again and sing to my amazing fans. I hated hiding. I looked at Lou and he was deep in thought.

Lou-"give me some time to think this out." Lou was funny, but he knew when to be serious and how serious to be and this was definitely a quite serious matter if he needed time to think on his own.

H-"ya, me too. I want to think things threw first."I told the others. I wanted to go back, but it's still something I need to think about before saying yes.

Li-"how long do you think it will take to figure it out? It cant be another seven years."

H-"we know, but, we just need to think." I said. I grabbed Mary's hand and headed for the back entrance. I know I was getting ahead of myself, but I think I really like her and she seems like a good listener so I wanted to talk to her.

Before we went out the door and turned around and looked into her eyes. She looked back into mine with worry and question. It was then that I realized that I really did like her. Her eyes were beautiful and I forgot what I was about to say as soon as I saw them. We stared into each others eyes for a little while then she broke the silence.

M-"Harry? Are you okay? If you need to talk, I'm here." her voice was amazing to me. Just hearing her say my name sent chills all over me.

H-"Do you want to go out to eat tomorrow night? I wanna take you on a date." the words came out of my mouth before I could think about what I was saying.

M-"Harry...." I got worried at her pause. "shouldn't you be thinking about what's going on with the band?"

H-"I am, but I just need time to live a normal life for a little while. Honestly, I haven't been on a single date since the split. It broke my heart and the right girl never came to fix it, until you came." her face turned pink with blush. She looked down at her shoes again and her bangs fell in her face. I put my hand under her chin and lifted her face. I pushed back her bangs so I could see her eyes too. "I know that we only met today, but I seriously like you and I know I can tell you anything."

M-"Harry..I'll go on the date with you, but this is too fast for me. Asking me out the day we meet is fast so can we slow down a little? I don't really want a serious boyfriend right now. I want to focus on traveling with my friends this summer THEN settling down. Okay?"

H-"ok" I replied with a side smile on my face.

M-"ok." she said with a sweet smile, and with that she left. I couldn't tell if she was just being nice or not, all I knew was that I had a date with her, and my band was gonna get back together. Life seems pretty good right now.
