(Mary's POV)
~One Week Later~
I can't believe how busy the boys have been. They've only been back at work for a week and they already have 5 songs written and recorded. I guess all of them were writtn by one of the boys over the last 5 years, but still, they're already finished. Now they have to write more. Simon wants at least 10 songs on the album. The boys were at work now and Lauren, Brandi, and I were out around town getting morning coffee at the cafe. We've come to know London pretty well now. Our parents knew by now what was going on. They had seen it in the magazines. They weren't very happy that they had to find out by seeing pictures of us in magazines kissing foreign boys while grocery shopping, but they said they trusted us. Plus, we're all adults now and they don't have parental control anymore.
B-"Guys, I don't know about you, but I feel like we gave up on our dream." She said while we sat down waiting for our orders of Ice Coffee to be delivered.
L-"Ya, I guess we have."
M-"Ya, but we have this now." I said pulling out my phone and showing my screen cover, which was a photo of us and all of the boys in front Buckingham Palace. The boys had finally taken us on our grand tour of London last weekend. It was an amazing day.
B-"I know, but our dream was to travel the world. We made a pact."
L-"Brandi's right Mary. We can't just forget about it. It's our dream to travel around the world as sisters."
M-"But what about Harry...." I said sadly while looking down at the photo and gazing at him. He was amazing. His smile was perfect. His cheekiness was perfect. Everything about him was absolutely perfect.
L-"Mary, the boys are busy. We hardly ever see them, and it's just gonna get worse when they release the album." I guess they were right. Looking around, you could already tell a crazy 1D obsession was coming. People had bracelets on with the album release date on it (August 10) and they were all over the news and on covers of every magazine possible. They were all old photos of course. The boys hadn't done any photo shoots in a while. I'm pretty sure they have one planned for this weekend. A weekend that they won't get to spend with us.
B-"Mary, you know i don't want to leave Niall, but Lauren's right. We already don't see them and things are gonna be crazy. We can't spend our entire 20's following them."
M-"Then when can we follow them? Think about it. Things are never gonna be the same for us. Not if we stay with them. Shouldn't we get used to it now?"
L-"Mary, I completely agree with you, but we can't obsess over our boyfriends. We have to live our lives too. How about we finish traveling for the summer while they work on getting everything ready for the release and we'll come back in late July and spend time with them. Then we can go back to school. I know you weren't planning on not going to college because of this."
M-"No, I'm gonna go to college. i just haven't thought about the future much lately." I don't think I've ever been able to say that sentence without lying. I've always looked ahead. What big event is next? What's after Christmas break? What's after summer? I've never lived in the moment of NOW until now, when I met Harry, when I got to travel with my best friends. I just want to stay here in limbo forever, but I guess that's not possible.
B-"So is that our plan?"
M-"Give me time to think. I'll make a decision by this weekend." To stay or not to stay. To go or not to go. I really have no clue.
