Chapter 10 (Mary's POV) Begin Again

(Mary's POV)

Before Harry arrived, I looked at myself in the full body mirror that was in our bathroom. I liked my outfit choice alot. I chose flats since Adam always hated me wearing heels cause he said I was "too tall" next to him in them, so i decided to play it safe. My hair and makeup was amazing thanks to Brandi and Lauren. My lips were pink just like my eyeshadow and my cheeks were peachy :) I loved it. As I stared at myself in the mirror, butterflies started creeping into my stomach. What if Harry turns into another Adam? What if he breaks my heart like Adam did? What if Adam finds out I've moved on? I quickly erased these thoughts from my mind. As I looked myself over, I kept looking down at my feet. They just didn't look right in those flats. I looked over at my suitcase which was under the counter of them bathroom. I saw my black heels just sitting on top of everything with a not attached.

}Dear Mary,

I knew you would choose flats and I knew you would be rethinking it by the time Harry showed up so I took the liberty of pulling these out for you. Don't worry. Harry is much taller than Adam was.

I love that girl, I quickly kicked off my flats and slid on the heels. I looked back at myself in the mirror and decided I finally looked perfect. I had never called myself that before, but I truely felt it. I felt like things were gonna get better, but as I reached for the door knob to walk out, I heard a knock at the front door and instantly the butterflies and worries were back.

Lou-"Hey love" i heard Louis' voice so the nerves settled down a bit

L-"Hey, what are you doing here?'

Lou-"Harry asked me to take Mary to her date location so he could surprise her." Instantly the nerves were back. This was it, no turning back. I reached for the door knob again and turned it. Lou saw me and his eyes grew wide.

Lou-"Wow, you look beautiful, Mary!" I saw Lauren look at him with an upset look. She totally liked him.

M-"Well it's all thanks to Brandi and Lauren. They did all the work." I said this so I could turn the attention to Lauren since Brandi wasn't around.

Lou-"Well, you did a good job babe." Lous dais looking down at Lauren. AWWW

L-"Thanks, it was nothing really." She said blushing

Lou-"Well, are you ready to go?" Lous asked me while still looking at Lauren.

M-"Yep."

Lou-"Let's go then."

As we walked out the door, my nerves were bursting. The butterflies weren't just in my stomach now, they were all over my body. They completly filled me! The car ride was mostly silent, until he asked me about Lauren.

Lou-"So, you've known Lauren since childhood right?"

M-"Ya, our parents are siblings, Lou. We're family, remember?"

Lou-"Oh right. So have you guys always been friends?"

M-"Mostly. I moved away when I was about 7 so we kind of lost connection, but when I moved back to Texas when I was 12, we became close friends again and we've been close ever since."

Lou-"Oh, that's cool. Well...I kinda need to ask you something about her."

M-"Shoot"

Lou-"Well...I" Just then a strange song came out of his phone and harry's picture and name popped up on the screen
