Months after Kopa's death. The Pride is still pretty upset about him, but it's gotten better over time. Nala's pregnancy is almost over. Everyone is excited for the new heir.

Simba's pov
I waited outside everyday until Nala gave birth. This is because I have to be there in case something happens or she needs me. After what happened with Kopa, I've very worried about my family and our pride. This time, my cub is going to be very protected and will not know of Kopa. If he or she ever found out-
"Simba! Get my mom and the females!" Nala screamed. "The cub is coming!"
I ran down Pride rock and told everyone what was happening. They all raced up to Nala while I got Rafiki.
Once we were back at Pride rock I had to wait outside. I was walking in circles, very very nervous.
"Simba you can come in." Said Nala's Mother
I walked into Pride Rock and smiled. I looked at the peach little cub in her paws. I nuzzled both Nala and the cub.
"What do we name her?" Nala asked.
"A girl?" I was shocked
"Yes Simba a girl."
"How about Kiara?" Rafiki suggests.
"That's perfect!" Nala and I say.
For the rest of the day Nala kept Kiara and herself inside at the back of Pride Rock. Everyone was saying congratulations and, she's so cute! Or she's going to be a great queen.
I can't believe I have a daughter..
