Chapter 4: The Rise of the Gangster Princess
Aisha Fancy Lee
"Hindi ka ba talaga titigil sa pakikipag-away? Una yung The Anacondas, tapos ngayon yung Dark Stones naman?" Alex’s voice was full of worry, and as usual, she was acting like my personal mom. Tss, feeling close na naman siya.
“Who cares?” I shrugged, rolling my eyes in response.
Pinanliitan niya ako ng mata, and I could feel her eyes burning a hole through me. Siya pa!
"Who cares? Ano ba, Aisha? Baka isunod mo na yung Poison. Wag na wag mong gagawin ‘yan dahil baka lalong mapaaga ang pagkita mo kay kamatayan! Pag binugbog mo si Jake, hindi magpapatalo ‘yun sa’yo," she warned, voice rising with concern.
"Alex, just relax. Your feeling like my worried mother," I said with a sarcastic tone as I rolled my eyes again. I knew she meant well, but sometimes, she just made everything worse.
"What? Yes, I am worried! Shit! Sampu na ang na-comatose dahil sa kagagawan mo, noh!" she fired back, her face red with frustration.
"Sampu na pala? So that’s great news. Nadagdagan pa ang 100+ na na-comatose dahil sakin," I smirked, not even feeling a single ounce of guilt. I was used to it by now.
She narrowed her eyes even more, clearly not amused by my response.
"Are you out of your mind?" she shot back, exasperated.
Argh, this conversation is so long. I was done with it. Alex could talk all day, but I wasn’t going to change.
“Fine, I’m sorry. I promise I’ll never do my ‘mission’ again,” I said, pretending to be sincere. But who was I kidding? I wasn’t going to listen to her. Daddy ko nga hindi ko sinusunod, siya pa kaya?
“What mission?” she asked, still pinning me with that judgmental stare.
“My mission is to break people’s faces and make them miserable,” I said with a wink, my attitude staying as nonchalant as ever.
She raised an eyebrow in disbelief.
“Fine, papasok na ako!” I threw my hands up in mock surrender and ran out of the room, my trusty baseball bat in hand. If the guys have weapons, I do too. At least I have my best friend with me: my baseball bat. I also check my pocket, and confirm my needles are there.
As I stepped outside, I bumped into a familiar face. Oh, great. It’s the so-called Gangster Prince. As if I would believe that.
But what is with his heavy aura?
“Aisha Fancy Lee,” he said in that low voice of his, like he was trying to intimidate me.
“Yeah, what do you want? And who are you, jerk?” I glared at him as I rolled my eyes.
“Reid," he said codly. How polite of him answering my question.
“Who cares?” I said without a second thought, turning my back on him.
He smirked as if he knew something I didn’t. And then, boom, suddenly, all his members came rushing out. Shit. 50 vs. 1? This was definitely going to be unfair. Where the hell is Dylan when I need him?
“So, gusto mo isunod ko yang grupo mo?” Reid’s grin was cocky, knowing he had the numbers on his side.
"Mahina lang kayo para sakin," I said, trying to act cool. But I had no intention of letting them off easy.
