It was very lucky for Rina that she managed to get home before her dad woke up. She even managed to get a couple of hours of sleep before she had to get ready for school. Not that it did her much good, as she still found herself sluggish on her way to school that morning.

"You d-didn't get any sleep last n-night either?" Suzu asked when they found each other amongst the walking students.

"Not really." Rina said, looking to the sky, "But for a different reason this time."

Suzu tilted her head at her.

"What's the r-r-reason?" She asked.

"Masaru came by to talk to me." Rina said, then quickly added after seeing Suzu's expression, "Before you say anything lewd, we just talked about Emiko."

"R-really?" Suzu said, looking forward with a troubled look, "What did he s-say?"

"You should ask him yourself." Rina replied, "I have a feeling he'll be more honest now."

"Why? W-what did you do to him?" Suzu asked, suddenly looking excited.

"Nothing." Rina said sternly, "I just think he learned something, is all."

Suzu appeared disappointed at Rina's first sentence, but when she spoke the second one she looked forward with a smile.

"Ok, m-m-maybe I'll ask him then." She said.

Rina smiled as well, and not long afterwards they reached the school entrance.

"You look tired again." Katsuo, who had been waiting for them, said, "But maybe not as depressed."

"I only slept a couple of hours last night." Rina said, "But I resolved things with Masaru, so I don't mind."

"You and Fukuhara are friends again, eh?" Katsuo asked, following them as they walked past him, "I had a feeling you would work things out."

"We did. Let's leave it at that." Rina said, growing tired and a little flustered from discussing it.

"All right then." Katsuo grunted, putting his hands behind his head, "At least you're looking completely better Suzu."

Suzu's face turned a bit pink.

"I would rather h-have gone with Rina and had a l-l-lovely threesome." She said.

Rina didn't have enough energy to stop her that time, and Katsuo wasn't used to it enough to predict what she would say.

"What?" Katsuo asked, his own face turning pink.

"N-nothing." Suzu said, not seeming like she expected a response.

"Settle down, you two." Rina said, rubbing her temple with her hand, "It's too early for all this."

"Sounds like the lack of sleep is making you grumpy." Katsuo growled softly.

"What did you just call me?" Rina asked, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Nothing, nothing." Katsuo said, shaking his head as he likely realized he shouldn't have spoken.

Rina turned her head forward with a scowl, one that quickly faded when she remembered the events from a few hours ago. They reached the classroom, and Katsuo stopped at the door.

"All right, I may see you guys at the club room today. Not sure yet." Katsuo said, scratching the back of his head.

"Ok." Rina said.

"S-See you." Suzu said with a smile.

Katsuo gave an idle wave before walking down the hall, and Rina and Suzu entered the classroom.
