The days following were uneventful, it seemed that nobody needed any cases solved. Eventually summer break came, and with that their new case would begin. Rina and Suzu had met up beforehand, and were walking to the meeting spot Masaru had texted Rina. Rina was dressed for the weather, wearing a light blue tank top with white shorts and matching sandals with her hair tied into a ponytail. She looked over at Suzu, who had a green t shirt on with a relatively short frilly yellow skirt and swimming shoes. Both girls had bags over their shoulders for the trip.
"I've n-n-never been on a trip with friends before." Suzu said with a big smile, "This is ex-exciting!"
"Yeah." Rina said with a smile, "I just hope Masaru doesn't stay in case mode the entire time."
"I'm sure e-even he can make room for a little f-f-fun." Suzu said.
Shortly after she said that, they arrived at where Masaru wanted them to meet: the bus stop.
Masaru was already there, sitting at a bench. He was wearing a yellow collared shirt with brown pants and boat shoes on. He looked over at them when they walked up.
"Hey." Masaru said, standing up.
"Hey." Rina said with a smile, "Where's Miss Miyake?"
"Right here." Rina heard a voice say.
She looked past Masaru and widened her eyes, it seemed who she thought was a random woman sitting next to Masaru was actually Miss Miyake.
She looked so different from how she usually did, her hair was done up in a bun, she had on sunglasses, and an open cardigan over a swimsuit.
"Miss Miyake, I didn't recognize you." Rina said, walking up to her.
She looked at Miss Miyake's chest, it was considerably bigger than it appeared in her usual clothes. She puffed her cheeks out when she thought of Masaru sitting next to her.
"Miss M-Miyake, I didn't know you liked t-to dress so scan-scandalously..." Suzu said, blushing and rubbing her thighs together.
"Scandalously?" Miyake looked down at herself, "I'm just wearing a swimsuit. It's hot outside."
Rina and Suzu both looked at Masaru, who didn't seem overly concerned either way.
"So, we're taking a bus to the boat?" Rina asked, changing the subject.
"Yes, it's not exactly nearby." Miyake said, looking at her watch, "The bus should have been here by now..."
Masaru and Rina looked at each other, and Masaru looked her up and down.
"You look-" Masaru was cut off by a high pitched voice.
"Masuuu!" Fuyuko called out, running up to the group.
Masaru looked over at her, his eyes widening slightly. But Rina was more concerned with what Masaru was about to say...
"I talked to your teacher, and she said that you guys had room for one more!" Fuyuko said with a grin.
"Oh." Masaru said, glancing over at Miyake.
They made eye contact for a few moments, and seemed to have a conversation without speaking. Rina looked Fuyuko up and down, she actually looked cute. She was wearing a pink frilly shirt, with blue shorts that had sunflowers on them and pink sandals. She had her hands on her hips and a massive grin on her face.
"So we're just waiting on the bus?" She asked, looking around at them.
"Y-Yep!" Suzu said, walking up to Fuyuko and patting her head, "You look so c-c-cute today!"
