Zeke walked into the tent, muscles tense ready to fight his way out if need to be. He felt naked without the reassuring weight of his bow on his shoulder and his daggers. His eyes took his surroundings in. The tent was simple, there was a cot lying in the corner and a foldable desk right beside it. There were no adornments or decorations. Zeke was surprised, this was a tent he would have expected a common soldier in the Resistance army to have, not a female general. Even his tent had some more items than this one. Granted, the only other things his had was a stand for his bow, light armor and a whetting stone but still. Suddenly, he noticed that everyone had sat on the ground while he was gawking and he quickly sat down.

Diana smiled amused. He was obviously not used to the Spartan approach that the Amazons used. She and the other generals had designed it after they had discovered that in order to keep their effectiveness, the Amazons had to be able to pack and move quickly. In fact, she was very surprised that these men had been able to catch up with them. The thought made her frown slightly before she smoothed her face out into a blank mask.

"I would like your names and where you're from," Diana stated. She noticed that two of the men involuntarily turned their heads to glance at the one with brown hair. I bet that's who is in charge she thought to herself.

"Why should we tell you our names?" the man with light brown hair and green eyes questioned.

Scarlett frowned. "I already know your name Samuel. No need to hide that."

"That's because you pinned me to the bed woman!"

Micah snickered. "Wow, you let yourself get pinned by a woman. Losing your touch Samuel, losing your touch."

"HEY!! You little..."

"That's enough!" Diana snapped. Her patience was running thin and the one she was fairly sure was the leader still hadn't spoken up. He had eyes the shade of the blue sky and brown hair. "Since we rescued you, I think it's only fair that you tell us who you are and what danger you bring to our camp."

"I will tell you after you give me your oath that we will not be harmed," Zeke said.

Diana narrowed her eyes. "I cannot give you that oath until you tell me who you are." Both sides regarded each other, one much calmer than the other.

Zeke sighed. "Fine. I am Zeke, a general in the Resistance..." A sharp point of a dagger was suddenly at his throat. Zeke stared in shock. He hadn't seen that coming and judging by the looks on his friends' faces neither had they.

"At ease Scar. They haven't proved themselves to be dangerous to us or the camp," Diana commanded. Scar shrugged and slowly sheathed her dagger. "Please continue."

Zeke stared. This mystery just keeps getting better and better he thought wryly. "You already know Samuel and this is Micah. The Commander sent us on a mission."

"And the mission is..." Lily trailed off.

"I cannot tell you until you give us the oath," Zeke stated flatly.

Diana stared at him, evaluating. Zeke stared back completely unafraid. There was a sense of honor about him she mused. I don't think that he will stab us in the back in the middle of the night. "Very well, I am Diana. And you already know Scarlett and Lily. We are generals of the Amazons. I give you my oath that you will not be harmed unless you pose a danger to the Amazons. Now, tell me why you are here."

"Can you guarantee our safety? I believe that another may outrank you."

Scar and Lily exchanged smirks. They really had no idea that they were talking to the leader of the Amazons.
