Micah and Jay circled each other, occasionally feinting to test one another's defenses. Their eyes resolute, neither wanted to lose, both wanted to win. Suddenly, Micah sprung forward and the actual fighting commenced. They're actually very well matched Diana mused. Both had the same basic fighting techniques and both used extremely similar swords. The clashing of swords went on for a while, neither gaining nor losing ground. Then Diana noticed an interesting quirk. Micah had purposefully left a hole in his defense. When Jay tried to take it, he was disarmed. That was interesting Diana thought, I'll definitely need to talk with Lily and Scar to see if we can come up with something like that. Seemingly catching onto her thoughts, both Scar and Lily made eye contact and nodded. Absentmindedly, Diana threw another two vials at Jay and Micah before walking over to Scar.
Diana thoughtfully categorized all the men in the hunters. Zeke would definitely be at the top. Samuel wouldn't be too far behind him especially after he switched swords. Micah was about the same level as Samuel, perhaps even a little bit better due to his broadsword.
"What do you think so far?" Scar asked, surveying the three men with a critical eye.
"What do you think?" Diana countered.
"Well, they're definitely up to snuff. If they were generals..."
"They might give a lot of the generals a run for their money," Lily finished. "I don't know Diana, do you really think that giving Samuel one of our swords is wise?"
"If it helps him survive, then yes," Diana replied shortly. "Hopefully we will end up on the same side. Are you ready for the next round?"
Lily sighed but let the subject go. "Yes, but if you would allow me to go check on my husband..." she said before walking away.
"I think you may have hurt her feelings Diana," Scar whispered.
"Lily knows deep down inside that this is the best decision. She just doesn't like it right now because she doesn't have substantial proof that they are in fact genuine. What say you?"
"True, but I have to agree with Lily on the issue of the sword. Why would you give him one of our swords? We may not have a shortage right now, but later in the future?"
"I've thought of that. However, Samuel's sword looks different from any other sword that I've ever seen so I would like for our smiths to take it apart to see how it was made. In my mind, it's the perfect trade off."
Scar snorted. "Alright Diana, whatever you say. Are you sure it's not just because you like one of them?"
Diana turned to face Scarlett. "I can't like anyone remember? Thanks to my abilities," she growled sarcastically.
"Sorry for bringing that up Diana."
"It's fine. Just please don't do it again," Diana sighed.

Zeke slumped onto the ground next to Samuel and Micah. He started to speak but then Micah hushed him. "Look. This is the first time I have seen any of them arguing with one another. I wonder what they're arguing about."
